Tu B’Shevat is the Jewish birthday for trees. It’s a time to acknowledge the importance of trees in our world, eat a lot of fruit, and celebrate spring (?). Haha! Tu Bishvat is usually celebrated in Jan or Feb, which is spring in Israel, but definitely not in the north east. It’s a really great holiday to celebrate with kids. You can hosting a Tu Bishvat seder, planting something, make tree crafts, or just eat.
