What a badass set up. Being in that environment must make you guys want to be creative. I can’t wait to fork over my $$$ for the results of this summit.

Yeah it’s ridiculous. After all this time I still don’t have a remote system… I put in pre-rolls or if I’m doing sessions I might copy and paste the song three or four times in a row play them back to back before it back in my bedroom /control room - then copy and paste the various takes underneath each other in the on the playlist.

@@patmastelottodrums yeah, if you can find space for a small keyboard, monitor, and mouse you could get a KVM Extender that does cat6 (or fiber if you wanna be fancy). Then you could control from your throne or the control room.

@@patmastelottodrums ooh, I'd like to see that for sure! I eventually need to change my setup too. Haha, though my setup isn't as awesome as yours. I've been running into issues with my setup. Like I upgraded Pro Tools and now when I record with the audio interface that allows 14 ins, it records fine the first time, but after that there's a 2 second latency. The only thing I can do is change the buffer size. That fixes it for one take and the the latency again. That makes for a crappy workflow for sure! I just gotta figure out what changes I can do that won't make me broke. 🤣
