The poor people in America are homeless and are without any stability. Does her research not include homeless individuals??

Right, she can stay closer to home for her research of different (sub)cultures and deprivation.

This got my attention, too. She really exposed her privileged lens. Babies are dying, children are getting sick. The maternal death rate of black women is ludicrously high for no reason. She needs more intersectional experience.

No offense But if you think that the experience of underprivileged people in the US and the global south are in any way comparable then your own privilege is showing. Western people really think that the world revolves around them and that they're the most oppressed on earth, meanwhile you step on the bones of third world children who manufacture every device, your food and the clothes you wear
