Do your MTB wheels really need to be tubeless? Most of the need is based on how hard you ride, but there is another factor to consider - How often do you ride? Does your bike sit for long periods of time between rides? In my experience, tubeless wheels will lose all the air and the sealant will dry out if they sit for more than a couple of months. The average MTB rider might only ride their bike every few months on a trail. Are tubes better for the average rider knowing this?
