Great to see you using metal frames as the plastic boards make the wreaths cheap looking

I can relate with you Paula, I find you end up with one petal on top the previous one as opposed to in between the petals. I’ve never used the boards so I can only say what I see out of them.

Wow that pink one is so beautiful. Your work is so talented, I love watching your videos and miss you when your not uploading. My are getting better shape and I’ve worked out that I need to make my cutting more Precise. But if Im in the middle of making petals and have to pop out, I notice when I got back to it, there slightly different shapes. But I’m loving doing the wreath, it helps keep my fingers from seizing up. I wish I could show you mine and get Get some suggestions on making them better.

On Amazon U.K. 3 rolls of burlap is £30.00 pound , which is $50 Canadian dollars. And tonight is the first time I’ve been about to find it .

That’s expensive,you should try seeking better companies near you. All this stuff comes from China and Korea you should be able to find something closer to you. I don’t know if The Wreath Shop do international orders but it’s worth the try!

I just found your videos. Would you please put what type mesh used, how much and measurements? I enjoyed seeing you make the beginning of a rose. Thanks Mary

The rose is made with poly burlap and I really like to work with fabric mesh which most of my wreaths are made of now. My experience wit deco mesh is not very nice because of fraying and I find fabric mesh will still fray however not as bad as deco and poly burlap mesh. As for measuring, I always measure my mesh before starting because it may say 10” on the package but when you actually cut it it comes up short. Many of them say10” but are really 10.5”. With that I want to have a perfect square for my petals so everything meets in the corners. That’s such a good question, I’m going to base my next video on mesh and different petals. I can’t tell you how many petals are on that rose, I just kept going until it overflowed my frame up to the first wire. Keep watching, I will be doing a video special for you so you can understand. Have a wonderful evening, see you soon 🙂❤️

How long do you cut the rose petals?
@tudeeswreaths-sylvifournier
2 жыл бұрын
I always cut my petals at the width of my mesh for a perfect square. So if it’s 10” as most poly burlap is then cut at 10”. If 10.5”cut 10.5”s. Hope that helps you 🥰
