I am making an afghan for my granddaughter. I am finishing my last square now. I will have 6 big ones in total using one ball of yarn per square. It will have smaller floral squares in-between, and on the inside as well. Thank you for this video. I know she will love it.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I made a baby blanket from your afghan squares and it took me a while, because last time I was doing crocheting was 30 years ago in school. But your tutorial was so great to follow and my best friend was so moved by the fact that I put so much time and love into making a blanket for her baby. And the process of making it was so good for my head as well. Creating something well organized is so good for mental health and staying focused. You are such a treasure. Through your work, you have made many people happy!

This is the best video tutorial, because of your style of presenting it, it's not just about showing the stitches but you go slow enough to follow, fast enough to not lose interest, explain very well without excess talking, and putting the 'preview' before each section to understand what you're about to do really makes it easier to follow. Well done ✅👍😊

Hey I'm pretty new to crocheting and was having trouble with my squares being uneven and also having trouble fitting the squares to a different square design that was a similar size to this one so here's how I managed to figure out a solution in case it helps anyone: This will work If you finish the afghan square on round 4 with all the slanted double crochets. You can do single crochets all around the edge of the square and this will make a more rigid border that helps the square keep its shape and also it spaces out the triangles made by the slanted double crochets better, since I was having a lot of trouble with my stitches being too lose in some places and too tight in others. Basically you want to do three single crochets in each space where it is the flat part of the triangle, and where two slanted double crochets meet you can do one single crochet. I can probably make a video if anyone is having similar problems because I'm bad at explaining things in text lol.
