When I had my TT/BBL I tried the chair girls make and that sucks. He puts fat in your thighs and that chair compresses your side leaving you with dents. Next I tried the avocado and that did nothing for me either. My butt went straight down to the bed which will make your butt flat. So after not sleeping for 3 days I said fuck it and slept on my stomach. I stacked as many pillows as I could and with my body bent I layered down. You will need help getting up every time so you don’t use you stomach to get up. And your knees will hurt because you’re going to be bent. Basically be on all fours on top of pillows. As you heal you will be able to flatten out. I’m 8 months post op and I still sleep on my stomach. I just got used to it and I’m not comfortable sleeping on my butt. He filled me out and now my back arches too much cuz of my big ole butt. 😉. Another tip is not keep your drains in more than 2 wks. I did 18 days and I paid the price. Hurt like hell but I was trying to avoid Seromas. Don’t be surprised if no one wants to take them out once you get back home like the ER or your general doctor.

@@K.P.J oh no!! ☹️ I bought this BBL mattress I found for $160 on Amazon. I tried it now and it feels like it won’t ruin my hips or my butt after the surgery since it doesn’t put pressure on either but I’m not 100% sure.. that’s why I’m trying to ask the Dr. To see what he says then.. BTW: did you wore a Faja right away after the surgery or not?? I’m so confused, so many doctors put you on a faja right after a TT so many don’t, but I’ve seen EVERY SINGLE VIDEO on Dr Williams profile and none says anything about fajas after TT and I’m only a month away from my surgery ☹️

@@deismarygonzalezmorales4657 I had a tummy tuck with lipo 360 on October 29 with Dr.william. I purchased the inflatable avocado and that sucked it was nearly impossible at least for me to get down to it or to get in position a tummy tuck is a big surgery don't expect to be moving as usual. I sat on and slept In a big chair with pillows on my back and used a ottoman with pillows under my legs .it was horrible at least the first two weeks mind you I didn't get a bbl and I was in such discomfort I almost regretted getting surgery. Now regards the faja you wear an abdominal binder with no boards just the binder until your drains are removed . One drain was removed 5 days post op and the other 7 days . You don't choose when to remove them they're used for an important reason your body will tell you when its time and that's when you stop draining if you remove them too soon you're healing will take longer and you might develop a seroma. So once the drains are out you will transition to a stage 1 faja and that will be for about a week then you would move on to a stage 2 . Remember any doubt or concern you have you can contact 305 plastic surgery and ask to speak to a coordinator. Now that I'm ten weeks post op I can say the pain and discomfort was all worth it. I wish you the best of luck!

@@K.P.J After my BBL, I purchase a body pillow that pregnant women use in their last trimester. I mold it into a donut and my button (butt) was able to fit inside. I used a least four to five pillows, two behind my head, two under my shoulder blades, and one on my lower back. I created a slanted shape with the pillows. And right next to that pillow was the body pillow, in which, I shaped into an oval. Best of all, in the beginning, you will be swollen, so the body pillow allows you to adjust the size as you progress in your recovery. I'm sending you so much love, good health, and speedy recovery. 8 weeks post op and the muscle pain and tension is still pretty significant after walking/ coughing/ standing completely straight up. Is this normal? No bulging areas, just tightness and pain in the muscles around and under belly button area still.
@DrWilliamMiami

I would say abdominal tightness is present in all patients that have a tummy tuck and lasts for varying lengths of time but it usually will go back to normal.

Are you still able to do TT BBL combos? I am in so many surgery groups and I see soooooo many posts of woman getting told that Dr Williams no longer offers combo surgery.. I hope this doesn't happen to me because after paying almost 13,000$ and flying across the country I want both done together😭
@alo9854

@LaDy sKiTtLeZ yes I'm scheduled for both in April, but in the surgery groups I am in, I see sooo many posts with women stating they paid for both and Dr. Williams refusing one of the surgeries.. they claim the coordinators lie and say he does both to get commission, and then when you get to the office he tells them he can only do one at a time now because the healing process is too intense with both together.. he's only recently began to tell patients that he can not do them together.. I REALLY hope this is not the case, because I can not go back 6 months later for the BBL.. it's either both, or I find another surgeon who still does them together.. good luck with surgery 💓

@@alo9854 omg!!!! I would be so sad if he does not do both for me. I travel all over the world for work and it is very difficult to get off. That’s why I want to do both and get it over with. I would cry so much. My sx date is in two weeks omg I hope he does both for me.

@@judenefen3578 same with me! I can not take time off, I REALLY hope he is able to do both. It's very frustrating reading all of these experiences with women where they were forced to choose to either only get the TT or find another surgeon. Especially because, in most cases those women STILL have not received refunds of their money either. I HOPE this does not happen to us😭😭

@@judenefen3578 some did get a partial refund (MONTHS later) and I STILL see posts where women will call and call and either get hung up on (after telling them they need a refund) or haven't heard from anyone. Let's pray this doesn't happen to us. Def keep me updated PLEASE I'm beyond stressed 😫

I’m 4 weeks and still can’t stand straight I’m so miserable I’m ready to clean up and do what I need to do around my house. This is so exhausting! When was the latest you can stand so I can have some hope that I’m not the only one still on this position. I searched google and saw about from a surgeon saying 5-7 days how ????
@DrWilliamMiami

Everyone has a different recovery. Usually patients are able to stand more straight a week after surgery but it is different for everyone. I have never had a patient who couldn't stand straight after a tummy tuck but everyone takes a different amount of time to get there.

Why don’t you want patients to use a walker?

Because I don't want any aids like commodes etc. I want my patients to be as active as they can be and move on their own to get back to normal as fast as they can.

What's the highest safe bmi you would do.
@DrWilliamMiami
Жыл бұрын
I don't think of it like that. I think of it as getting your BMI to the lowest level you can to get rid of internal fat and have the safest surgery with the best possible result. IF you have surgery with a high BMI you have more complications and your results are not as good.

I think as long as your healthy and have the bmi limit your ok! I don’t think age matters.. besides 47 is still young ! Go for it !!
