The footage we’ve seen on the internet is probably only about 1% of the footage that was available back then. It’s much easier to archive footage these days. But back then footage was one and done. Once they air it they don’t reair it repeatedly or preserve it and over time media gets lost or destroyed. U would have had to rely on second hand copies of people recording it. It’s like expecting everyone to still have their middle school year book or cassette tape recordings or old floppies from 1993. Who does that? My guess is the shakur family had recording this on vhs back In the day and they found it recently

@HappyRoach1
Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say suppressed. That show I don't is on air anymore. So you gotta go through a lot of legal and financial shit to get it play for the documentary. Not to mention the Tupac Shakur estate don't want to give out all their Tupac stuff (music, interviews, live performances, behind the scenes footage) all at once. They got a lot more shit in the vault that they will put out in years to come. Many famous estates do the same shit with Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, Heath Ledger, Bruce Lee, Selena, Michael Jackson, Prince, Rick James and others. I think Biggie Smalls and Big Pun put all the shit they have on them.

Pac was brilliant here, telling those racists that unlike the police, Black people have to face the criminal element in their communities without the weaponry that the cops have. Before Pac was murdered, he did a Vibe magazine interview where he announced that he was going to run for office, and start an independent political party for Blacks and other disenfranchised ethnic groups. Pac was also going to launch Euphanasia, an umbrella company that would produce movie projects and develop community organizing initiatives.
