For people into cars/trucks/etc., it's just what they like, and that's where the value is; it's in how happy it makes them. You could live another 60 years.. or die tomorrow, right? A good rule of thumb when deciding if you want to turbo a car is that on average, it’ll cost $5,000-$10,000. My 2004 lancer Ralliart was right around $6.5k after everything (including forged internals, tune, and a larger exhaust) but I did get some things free like the fuel injectors off my buddies Subaru and the welding for a custom exhaust manifold from a guy my dad works with and is close friends with. May have spent 3x the price of the actually car, but now it’s making 409hp on 20psi so I’d say it’s worth it if you are willing to sacrifice reliability
