The video doesn't state that before extruding a complex 2d shape which has been made up from other 2d entities (such as the one towards the end of the video), it needs to be "closed", or the extrusion will not work.

I realise it's a long time ago that you posted this video but I wonder if you are still active? And if you are willing to answer a quick question? I am drawing front profiles of built-in wardrobes and I'm looking for an easy way to add a side profile in turbocad 15. Any ideas?

are these options also available on the deluxe version. I just bought it to create parts for a paintball gun (barrels, and bolts) both mostly cylindrical objects i was wondering how easy it would be to craft those items

Turbo cad is a good 2 d programme, that tries to be a 3 d one, and falls far short. anything created in 3d requires so much mouse clicks . It uses the ACIS modelling kernel [ which is bad ] for 3d It is not Parametric and I believe all 3d cad software that want's to be taken seriously... has to. Editing any model created in this software is nothing short of "Purgatory " How IMSI can ask such a price for it is beyond me !! I used it years ago and the set up has not improved any !

Deluxe is Surface Modeling and Professional is Solid Modeling. This means that you have far more possibilities with the Professional versions. Paul
