Excellent craftsmanship. All these dudes on youtube with "builds" a.k.a pre-built bolt on components getting millions of views ffs. This dude builds his own ecu's for cryin' out loud.

Nice build ! I wish I had your knowledge and resources. I'm currently restoring my original owner 98 metro and wanted to soup it up for its 2nd round in life. When I bought it new it was out of necessity now I want it to be a fun,pointless sleeper. I'm wanting a small supercharger with a bigger fuel injected throttle body trying to figure it out. Thank you for posting this it is nice to get ideas from others.

@BombShell Bikes THIS IS AWESOME! thanks for doing this been wanting to do this for ever. Whats the mpg like with that set up? just curious how much it could affect it . I have 2 chevy metros 98, 00' and have been thinking bout doing something like this to the daily if its not knee capping the mpg or doing it to the parts metro before maybe a engine swap/relocation also possibly do a awd conversion. Kinda thinking bout going with a Subaru driveline with stripped metro body but idk probably get whatever i can find in the junk yards.

I have blown a clutch opposite way, diaphragm, failed to release learn to drive like a big truck and forward reverse stop the engine. I invade WA regularly with it, Port Townsend area. Interesting build especially the injection ecm instead of the mega squirt mega price.

Do you have a website or FB page on your work on the Speeduino? I'm wanting to use one on my Mustang SVO so I can tune and also get rid of the old vane type MAS sensor.

The ECU is a Speeduino. You can learn about those here: speeduino.com/ . I also covered Speeduino in an earlier video: kzitem.info/news/bejne/sKN3zIJ9hIt4ZXY. The crank trigger is just a CNC cut aluminum disc bolted to the crank pulley. The cam trigger is a modified stock distributor. If you don't have access to a CNC machine, you could always use sendcutsend.com/ .

Where did you get the crank trigger? Working on a similar setup using a T3 and G10T intake manifold.
@bombshellbikes1559

I made it, lol. It's an aluminum disc with magnets inset into one side at very precise intervals. I drilled and tapped the crank pulley to bolt it on. Then just used a cheap hall effect sensor from Amazon to pick up the magnets

I want to do a geo metro project started but was thinking about an engine swap. I like your approach but it seems beyond my capabilities. What part of Washington are you in. I used to live im Everett.
