The parliament was bombed( i think 8 times, by probably MK-82 bombs). The national intelligence agency was attacked by helicopters. The police headquarters in the capital city was bombed by warplanes. The turkish military headquarters was raided by Gulenist special forces and the chief military general was apprehended. Gendarme special forces headquarters were raided but taken back by special police forces. The police special forces headquarters (who were at that time planning a rescue plan to take back all captured central government offices in the capital) was bombed by insurgent warplanes, 48 people died there instantly. The chief military general was kidnapped and moved to an unknown staff. At similar times, the leading special forces general of the military was able to escape from being apprehended by insurgent armed forces. Retired general's special forces bodyguards are given to his command to take back the military headquarters. These are some of real events happened at that night. Please tell us how any of EU state would react to these events? The turkish people experienced this reality. The matter of massive dismissals in government offices is a subject which requires background information on turkish political history spanning from 1980s to nowadays, and the religious Gulen movement. It is inexplicable to make assumptions about what is happening in Turkey, without having information about the whole context. That can not be considered as journalism. Additionally, the western media approach is completely disgusting on this matter and disrespectful of plenty of dead civilians shot by insurgents on streets and military personnel died while recovering captured critical central government headquarters in Ankara. I think Turkey should consider leaving NATO and dropping EU negotiations; because it is clear that western countries never consider Turkey as true allies and a prospective future EU member as shown by their double standards and backdoor politics .Hypocrisy ...
