How do we know what dinosaurs acted like? 😉. Nice video. Thinking about turkeys.

Great videos. I am planning in the next 5 years to go back to my dear home country to get myself a little vineyard and my plan is also to accomodate the "artisan" winery with a selection of good meat. Chickens (Coq au vin!!!), layers, and pigs are definitely on the list. Please a couple of cows mostly for grazing and our own milk consumption. Love your videos and tips. Not sure how well it will apply to communist France, but, well...still a hell lot of great information. Next time i am in Boston, might try to find your beer. Love you man!

We're raising 16 broad breasted whites this year and at 4 months they are gigantic! They're in 4, 100' sections of premier poultry fencing and doing well. They don't ever learn that the fence is what's shocking them so I think your use of poultry fencing is much better than the sheep fencing.

They sell cheap bird netting on Amazon 7x100’ and it’s something like 19$ if you get a few of them set your coops 100’ from each other and pull netting across between them while you use your fencing. It will give them thousands of feet of safe grazing. I do it for mine in Adirondacks. We also have eagles take our turkey but netting stops them.

The crows at my farm harass the hawks. Any chance you could use crow decoys to ward off hawks?

The age of the rocks is based off the age of the fossils and the age of the fossils is based off the age of the rocks. I believer in dinosaurs pre 1800 the dictionary called them dragons!

Great turkeys John! In the old day we just shot the damn hawks! lol End of problem. Today I guess they are protected. Go figure. So hard for people like you who wish to do farming the right way (the old fashioned way) in an eco system where predators run free in our midst. When you figure it out, PLEASE let us know. Best of luck. Ruth

Because you already plan to use two tractors, why not split them into two groups, (side-by-side), and move them three times daily? This is a trade off in time used because you save bi-daily net-setup and the time spent learning the new system and security checks. You need another feeder and waterer but I bet you already own that; whereas you may not have the aerial netting. This gives you peace of mind against the creative hawks. Feeding chores are very similar but your awareness of what is happening with your flock accelerates. Because turkeys benefit from grazing at about a three-to-one ratio over chickens you are delivering a better bird to your customers. ---- Just sayin.

I wouldn’t mind watching your turkeys for a few minutes on your video. Next time you do a video, don’t stop your camera. Let us watch too
