Turkish chicken kebab with eggplant base Alinazik! This chicken recipe is so easy to make and has a creamy tangy base with grilled eggplant and yogurt.
It can be a light summer dish to enjoy, you can serve rice pilaf or bulgur pilaf with it.
Ingredients for Chicken Eggplant kebab "Alinazik"
For the chicken topping:
500gr. chicken breast
1 onion
3 green peppers
1 red pepper
4-5 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp heaped each tomato and red pepper paste.
2-3 cloves of garlic
1-2 tbsp butter
salt, chili flakes and paprika to taste
1/4 to 1/3 cup water
For the eggplant base:
4 big eggplants
about 1 cup preferably full-fat thick, no sugar yogurt
salt to taste
