I wish one could buy or stream this or something! these copies you have posted are the ONLY copies out there in the whole world! I want so badly to show these to my kids, but I would love to watch them again in good quality, full screen size.

and at proper playback speed with corresponding proper audio? Why is this poster altering the playback? It's absurd to me that more people haven't posted these episodes.

They do not explain well, but at this point in history the upper class was extremely xenophobic, seeing the lower classes as uncivilized. Any family not matching the cultural standards... I.e. woman going to the cultural equivalent of a strip club... Is obviously an intruder and will be driven out.

Saskia is the kind of girl who would have risen up at the time. Responsible, doing the job, not trying to shirk. A girl like her, if nothing drastic happened, could have risen up through the ranks to housekeeper or married up.
