I found xTool faster and easier to use to create an SVG from a graphic. I'd always used Inkscape but xTool has made it even easier. New Project, Import, resize, trace/save, export SVG, done. Six clicks...🙂

Nice! Do you have an xTool device, or are you just using the software? This project started with MakerWorld. kzitem.info/news/bejne/r6OhwIx6nnidjJg It was slick too.

@@HLModTech strictly using the xTool software itself. I was just surprised at how easy it was. There's only three minor tracing adjustment tools that, really, don't seem to do a heck of a lot any way. I was doing some PNG, JPEG and TIFF typical logo's or cartoon characters for testing (white backgrounds). When the imported graphic is resized in xTools before tracing, that's the Art Board size it imports in Tinkercad so you don't need to change X/Y in Tinkercad. There's no X1C/AMS here any more. Far more failures than it was worth fixing so it went for parts to someone who needed it. As a retired developer I'm an open source guy, so closed source is out of the loop for me. I strictly use Tinkercad for the design assembly and haven't done embossed prints in years. All mine are face down, textured PEI plate, either on my deltas or PRUSA Mk3S/MMU2S. I found the four colour AMS far too limiting, so the five MMU2S filaments I can work with 95% of time. I had a Palette Pro for a while and it kind of works but it's restricted to being online for using it so it got sold as well.

Sounds slick. I may have to give it a whirl one of these days. Thanks for sharing.

@@HLModTech just different ways of doing similar work. I just happened across xTool when I was reading a FB post where someone mentioned doing it so I thought I'd give it a try and found it worked great.

Hello. I want to make changes to the marlin software of my 3D printer that I made, but my PC's hard disk is broken, that is, the marlin codes that I saved on my printer are deleted. I can't write the codes again. Is there a solution to copy the Arduino to the PC? (I will just add bltouch)

Sorry, I have no idea about that. I have heard of software that can retrieve files from a broken hard drive, but it is hit and miss. I would hate to see a 3D printer break because the file that was recovered had bad data in it.
