Hi Konstantinos, I hope you're doing well. I have ABO testing campaigns that work very well, but when I duplicate them into CBO campaigns, the performance becomes very bad. Is it true that some ad accounts work better with ABO than CBO?

If you test it with small budgets on ABO and then you go on CBO and it tries to scale and it fails. It is simply failing on scaling and works better with smaller budgets. Thats why I dont like to test with ABO campaign cause in many cases when you scale them on CBO's they just dont work. Percentage of Spend Used for Facebook Ad Testing! Watch this video. That's how I test on real conditions. Something working on an ABO says nothing to me!

How come on some dashboards you’re using ‘Unique Click ‘All’ or ‘Unique CTR ‘All’, instead of the ‘link click’ version of those two metrics? I normally choose the LC version as I feel it shows more intent, but interested to know why you sometimes choose the ‘all’ 😊

I use both. You just see different things and not something consistent across accounts cause I dont use them much, ans only as indication, so I just pick something.

I am getting 200 to 500 cpms bro i wish i get 50 i tried new bm a new pages and new profiles I tested 30 products all of them custom UGC videos that's i bought for and all of them have the same cpm I am getting so nervous 😔 and disappointed with this as last 4 months i did 350k a month now it's been a month and i am still waiting for a solution do you have any solution i will be so happy for this

This is a much deeper problem that cant be solved through messages and without knowing the account. In one ad account they had crazy high CPM and the account had a lot of data. I switched from Broad to Interests for a period and it improved a lot but I sure you tested that already.

Having the same issue as you, I think it’s more of an internal glitch that a lot of other advertisers are facing. I’m getting cpms over 150+ for nearly every new asset I launch

For a young pixel targeting US, does it make sense to focus only on a age range of for example 45-55 just to reduce the size of the potential audience even if the product is usually bought in the age 40-65? Also, does this help the algorithm when we try to target a larger age range once we start getting some traction on the smaller audience?

Yes it can help IF you are right and the audience works. Compare CPM's with all your tests along with results to know the cost of your traffic and the results each cost brings to pick the best ratio.

if you get 30 cpm and with other targeting 10 with the same money you 3 times more people. If Roas is there it will be better. Look both on new account to find the better combo. Now if something is cheaper but roas not good focus on ROAS of course. All im saying is to keep testing from time to time to find the best combo

Thanks. I have 3 videos with 1 year case studies on scaling and videos in between with 3 month 6 months and 1 year. I just cant reveal the brand names. Type doulgeridis case study and you can see either the 1 year case studies or start from the 3 month ones and move your way up.

Hello Konstantinos, why don't you include the metrics like Landing Page/Cost per landing page view and the Outbound Clicks/Cost Per Outbound Clicks. I see that there is a correlation between CTR, Unique CTR, and Landing Page View/Cost Per Landing. While testing creatives, I keep those metrics on a higher priority along with ATC/IC while analyzing. More genuine metric than a Link/Unique Link. What's your take on it?

I get your point but the whole purpose of the video is to explain that I dont care for these metrics after the first 24 hours. I would care for these only if I was optimizing for these metrics.

@@KonstantinosDoulgeridis Actually, I was one of the internet marketers community back then when I started media buying 4 years back. There was one well-known Ad guru (a pretty old guy with a lot of internet marketing experience). He said if your ad campaign starts with a bang like most of the metrics discussed in this video. It means you set up your campaign correctly. But that's when there was a lot of manual setup broad wasn't so effective and there was still the rant of Lookalikes. But now in 2024, your approach makes sense. I see what doesn't start with a bang turn out to be a bomb when we give enough time.

hey Konstantinos, I need some help if its possible. This month I had some good restults on facebook ads and while I tried to scale with more cbos instead of increasing the badget everything was going very smoothly. I was getting 3+ roas but the last 5-6 days everything has gone on a big drop. I am loosing money everyday. I tried to close the words performance campaigns but still nothing works, today I dont even got any sales. What I can do to recover from this ? I wasnt spending to much just around 300-400$ daily but then I got scared and right now I am trying to test more creatives and more things but still nothing works, I really dont know what to do

Well there is not certain path to this. You just cut until you stabilize. Dont go like crazy and test all the time things now cause it is extra spend. Just cut and start building all over again.

Hi Konstantinos, always appreciate your sharing! I just got back to fb (after 3 weeks unable to login disaster), any way, glad to be back. One question, we have 5 campaigns running, 4 of them are CBO with lookalike, all are dynamic creatives, so are we only be able to optimize it at ad set level, not at ad level as you suggested? Now the ROAS is struggling between 1.12 -1.96 in the past 2 months, and we are aiming at 2+, do you think it's gonna work. Thanks!

Even if you do have many ads per adset on CBO I suggest to optimize on adset level. Optimize on ad level only on ASC campaigns. I dont know if it is going to work :). I'm not that good to know what will happen without even watching it lol!
