Have the Istanbul blue shirt, wore it under a suit at a wedding. And they were all giving compliments at how sharp it looks and true story, when the dancing party began many ladies asked me to dance or to get on a picture with them.

One thing Turnball should produce is the Tie from Moonraker that Sir Roger Moore wears in the space shuttle facility when he meets Goodhead for the first time and also the tan stripe tie from Bonds first encounter with Stacey Sutton.

Thanks! It was funny- nobody batted an eyelid around St James. I think that everyone thought that I was just an eccentric billionaire out for a stroll. The beginning of the pre-titles sequence was filmed in our village- the reaction there was the opposite. Everyone let me know that they thought that I was an eccentric billionaire! I suffer for my art!

Blair, brilliant intro! Very well done. You have the perfect hair for it now. Though it reminds me more of a certain hairstyle worn by someone who has a cameo in Casino Royale... The french blue shirt is perfect! I had a french blue oxford shirt made a number of years ago because of this shirt. Yours is superb. I love the cream oxford shirt too. It's a shame that cream shirts aren't more popular. As Mr Cook says, they go with everything. Superb job identifying the ties. The Brosnan ties are all works of art. I don't think Connery ever wore any black knitted ties from T&A, since T&A was not involved with Goldfinger, the only time he wears black knitted ties. Connery brought back the knitted tie in navy in You Only Live Twice, and that's probably T&A. I love the OHMSS ruffled shirts too, but I don't think the original maker of those (who is still in business) would appreciate it if T&A copied their shirts. The TND dress shirt is a fantastic choice. The TWINE dress shirt appears to be identical, though the collar might be slightly higher. What T&A should do is offer a screen-accurate version of the Connery navy grenadine, in a 7-7.5 mm width and untipped. Unfortunately, the same shade of navy is no longer available, though the silkmaker has replaced it with a similar shade.

Does anyone know if Connery whore the same light blue fabric shirt in the Thunderball junkanoo sequence as in Dr. No? In the film it appears a richer light blue. But maybe that just the way the film stock has made it look?
