Dr Chang, I don’t see that well. Could you show us closeup of a branch that you are going to cut with a bud. Thank you.

Question: Have you ever tried working on mini or bean bonsai like Mrs. Ohno of Japan? Just wondering.

When are u announcing the winners for the raffle? I also want to say that the root that barely has any fibrous roots on it i think its possible in spring to take a small drill bit and drill holes to also get roots to come out where there are no roots. Ive read it in nakas books ive never tried it myself and never saw anyone on yt try that method but i do believe it will work. Im gonna say drill holes and sphagnum moss around it or maybe u can do a small ground layer to shoot some roots out. Great video!

great videos and bonsai ! I have a question...where would I be able to find a tree that age that hasn't grown into a full sized tree? and roughly how old does a juniper have to be to be considered a mature bonsai?

The short answer is start with a small trht, cut back periodically...to create a taper. Stay tuned, I will say more in the Q&A. Milton
