Hi Rob, it’s a pleasure to see you at work! Brilliant episode, as always… I find I watch them again when I’m at the bench, the only problem is they end too soon 😩

@@SwiftSlots it might do better than you think, that flexible chassis could be a help rather than a hindrance

@@slotr High C/G, narrow tyres and only 20K motor on very tall wheels, I have my doubts, but it will be fun to see the project though and see how she does 🙂 My club have given me permission to run her on their large 4 lane club track for the track test video, so that will really stretch her legs 😀

LOL, thank you, I just see it in my mind and make it, it's the only way I can work. I do have to spend time thinking about how I'm going to go about many of the things I make, that can take minutes or weeks sometimes.

Couldn’t say about diamond files but a diamond steel is far better than a metal one on knives

Rob, Anything I could say would just be a mirror of all the other comments, Kudos Sir!! That being said, I will join in by saying I am amazed at how you could see in your mind how to accomplish the conversion and create and mount the slot car drive train. Please answer this question: how would you have removed the chassis or any other parts had they been glued in??? Or how can glued parts be unglued for removal? TIA and Fantastic Content!! Regards, Jack

LOL, thank you very much 😀 Most kits only have small contact points for gluing and as long as you go slow with a sharp scalpel, most glue lines can be cut. Then on top of that, people tend to under glue surfaces, so easier to cut. Also this kit is old, and old glue tends to brake off easily. There is a little luck involved, but luck can be circumnavigate with determination.
