Small tip from a stone mason, apply some oil to stones to hide cracks and keeps stones wet if you like... Also agets been made with mineral soup of some sort, so, as it's dryer, it'll cracks, hence the oil. Good work, what you doing is my retirement plan, enjoy watching your videos, All the best

I love watching your videos! I've had the pleasure of using the rock saw you use and have found myself getting as excited as you do when I see what's inside these rocks! I'm trying to find the right way to polish them though. I have a polishing wheel but being new to this I don't think I'm doing something right. Do you just the cab king to do this process or do you use the polishing bricks too to create the shine. I would love to have the cab king but we live the full time Rv life traveling all over so space is limited 😢 With that said my rock collecting is starting to look like the scene from I Love Lucy!

Hi, I was curious as to the total polish time invested in the larger agate (which came out super!)? When using your cab machine, do spray particles become airborne as to lay on items nearby? I was considering purchasing a 8 inch King Cab machine. Many thanks.

Awesome video. I have a quick question. I am in the process of starting to set up my shop. I'm going to have a couple thousand to spend on tools of the trade. There is a Cab King that falls into that price range and I would love to have it but would it be wiser to get the Hi-Tech 8" flat lap and use the extra money to get some other tools like a slab saw or a wet belt sander. I have a tile saw I use for trimming and cutting thinner slabs I purchase and if I get a large rock I have the store slab it for me so I can work with it at home. Thanks.
@AgateDad
Жыл бұрын
My advice would be to get either a 6” or 8” cabking and get the saw attachment for the unit. The you have it all in one. Besides a vibrating lap, you’d have pretty much everything you need to get started in those pieces. Send me a email or message if you have any questions!
