As a digital illustrator, I primarily work in 2D, so 3D sculpting of any kind (especially when it's this good) is absolute wizardry to me. I didn't understand a single thing you were talking about when you went into detail about the steps you took to do specific things, but I was still thoroughly interested LOL. I also love the fact that you stayed faithful to the artist's original style while also creating something unique. I'm curious, are submissions still open? I understand that something like this takes so much time and effort to create and put together, and you're amazing for taking it as far as you did and creating something so beautiful. Keep up the awesome work, you are so incredibly talented!

lovelovelove how you include the image references on the screen, really shows how important using them is to getting accurate anatomy and objects. as a 2d artist, i have mad respect for you- i tried blender once and immediately was hit by how hard everything is. you break things down so well that it makes it look easy- the true sign you're seriously good at what you do. keep it up!!

Bro, the way you doing all this stuff is absolutely inspiring! It often happens that I'm afraid to do a full character because of the anticipated amount of work and lack of self-confidence. I'd rather explore every part of the body thoroughly, but that way I get very tired and end up doing nothing. You showed me a different perspective on character creation

Hello nice video I just started blender I wanted to ask if I need to know how to draw to be a master body sculptor\ modeller in blender
@tinynocky
Жыл бұрын
Hey! I'm no master sculptor, but you probably just need an understanding of anatomy and learn how to observe proportions. If drawing is your most comfortable means of learning anatomy, then you could start with that. But if drawing is something you despise doing, no need to force yourself to draw, just start sculpting and observe the workflow of content creators. Personally, I learned a lot from Speedchar Live on KZitem. Anyway, I've only been studying faces and winging it at sculpting bodies, I will tackle it one day but you gotta pace yourself, baby steps!
