Tuscany might be one of the birthplaces of gravel riding, with their endless Strade Bianche crossing through green fields and hundreds of cypress hills.
A gravel trip with few or none technical segments, and heaven for fast gravel. Well, "fast" until you hit those up and down hills, that will make your legs burn, but will reward you with amazing views everytime. Let us show them to you.
Same as other famous routes in the area like the famous Eroica (which our trip is loosely based on on the last 3 days) we will be riding in tarmac and perfect white gravel roads (Strada Bianca) and a few more technical double track and flowy segments here and there, but overall, this is our least technical trip so far. A PRO rider will be able to do it on a road bike (it won't be as fun as riding it on a proper gravel bike though...)
We will be using parts of the "L'Eroica" course, along with some of famous segments of the "Strade Bianche" professional race like the Mt Saint Anne in Asciano with its steep short climbs and great views at the top.
