The old military combatives are so effective, especially for street self-defense. Thanks for the refresher and explainer.

Great tip about controlling the fall to the ground. Could mean the difference between kicking someones ass and facing murder charges.

Love your content Lee been following you a long time been a Martial artist for a long time, if only this training had been available widely back in the day would have saved a lot of sorting wheat from chaff, techniques that work are simple, all of your training is a breath of fresh air, keep on keeping on

Your videos are really great! They give a lot to think about. I'm training Silat/Libre mix and it's nice to see similarities in body mechanics and principles. You also explain everything very clearly 👍

I been using a strike almost exactly like this but I like to place it to the bend of jaw bone. Been using it exactly same way I do it while someone's close talkn trash. Then get off center to rear choke. I bounced for almost 15 yrs an it worked almost every time it works great in bar when it's crowded an contains the violence to a small area . So none standing innocently around it hurt. Or at least minimal disruptive ofenviroment. U are 💯% right. Noone talks bout this strike an why it is easy for people who don't fight or don't understand violence. Ur average person who can't even throw a punch properly. Can deploy this an not break their hands an. I glad to see someone besides me who likes or uses it. This is great advice I hope people take this to heart cause ur teaching this very useful strike . That works . I like how u teaching truthful real world techniques that work. Much respect

I used a double chin strike on a person of all places a public mall at a children’s play center. The man who was larger than myself yelled at my daughter who was 5 and made her cry and run to me. Long story short I approached the man to ask what happened and he stepped into me with his fat gut and running his mouth and got immediately double chin jabbed because I recognized his intent and in a blink of an eye his aggressive attitude exited him like his soul left his body . No knockout, no broken cervical neck bones but the sound it made with his teeth cracking together as the jab landed due to him running his mouth was glorious. The mall security came and I was not arrested because it was not a closed fist boxing match , it looked like a shove from security asking witnesses what happened and viewed as a push. I told security the issue and so did other parents and he was the one who was escorted out and banned from entry. If I used a fist I probably would of been arrested due to me striking first Thing biggest thing is the adrenaline dump during and afterwards……tunnel vision. Learned from my grandfather who served in WWII….it works trust me, but you have to do exactly as this instructor said and 100% commit to the strike and if it connects its a fight ender by knockout or attitude change and definitely a level 10 on the aggression defensive scale, but I was pissed because of what he did to my little girl

Lee Morrison would fit in good in a Sylvester Stallone movie. Thank you, this was good. Lee would definitely fit in Slys movie "Samaratan". "Expendables". I really liked this one. Which some like to get in someone's face some like to rub shoulders, which this would be applicable.

If your tall enough and close enough you can also use your shoulder drive it up under the chin it allows you to use 100% of your weight in the upward motion... Its a Judo move.

Have you trained in wing chun? I know this strike is pretty common but it looks a lot like the upward/diagonal palm strike from the second form, chum kiu.
