WHY MOUNT WATERCOLOR PAPER?
There are two main reasons that I personally mount my watercolor paper:
1. It prevents the paper from warping while it's being painted on! That's pretty amazing all on it's own
2. Once sealed, the finished painting can be framed just like an acrylic or oil painting or framed traditionally using a mat and glass
* * * * TOOLS & SUPPLIES * * * *
GLUE: Golden heavy gel gloss (gloss or matte is fine)
PAPER: Arches cold press 140 pound watercolor paper. (I do not recommend mounting lighter paper. It will probably wrinkle. Unless you want that)
WOOD: Hardboard panel, wood panel or wood cradle
