Hello Shiny Crafty People and welcome back to the channel!
Today I'm adapting a design I saw for a small ring box at the Japanese pavilion at EPCOT (the Disney theme park in Orlando) into a larger round box for my sewing notions!
You can really make this with any size box you want, but I used a very inexpensive cardboard container from the Dollar Tree.
Here's the materials and tools you will need:
1 Small box (I got mine for $1.25 at the Dollar Tree)
1 matching lid or material to make a ring (I use the lid that came with the box)
Fabric (I used two fat quarters)
Matching thread
Sewing machine
Cutting implements
Measuring tape or square
To work out this project, it took me about 30 minutes. However, if I was making several of the same size, I think I could make these in 15 minutes or less. Of course, you can spend more time getting details exact or go as fast as me if quantity is your goal.
I hope you enjoyed this exercise! Until next time, stay crafty!
