After finding a firework called "Screecheroo", my sister and I decided that would have been a much more awesome character on the show than the Polkaroo... All the kids would have been completely traumatized by its sould-shattering high pitched screech. Oh, to have been a children's TV producer in the 80s.

The closing song always made me sad, because the show was over and it was time to go to school.

That's what I was saying. Australia had a (I'm pretty sure) Marigold, Big Ted, Little Ted(bears) and Humpty Dumpty. Canada had Bear, Humpty, Dumpty, and Marigold.

Funfact: Polka Dot Door was a Canadian adaptation of the Australian kids show, PlaySchool, which still goes on to this very day. One of the changes? We had Humpty AND Dumpty, instead of just Humpty Dumpty, and the original version had two bears, Big Ted, and Little Ted.
