[TW] This video contains discussions of cycles and symptoms of trauma, abuse and violence mentions, suspenseful implications of animal harm, and a verbal description of a house explosion/fire. Please use discretion when deciding if this video is right for you in your current state of mind.
Nobody, human or otherwise, was injured or killed in the fire, the house being mentioned was vacant.
Hazel talks about an event that happened to us a few months ago that has sparked a lot of thoughts related to retraumatization. They get a bit rambly but discuss what going through additional traumatic events can mean for that as a concept, and talk about our path to healing after going back to that place emotionally. When you and other people you're building a safe place with don't have the means to get to safety in a crisis, for any reason, what does it mean for your healing?
