Stone Grissom talks to the investigators and eyewitnesses to the 1996 crash over the south shore of Long Island about the theory that a missile shot down TWA Flight 800.
I was laying on the couch watching TV when the initial reports came in - and EVERYBODY on the shore said WE SAW A LINE OF FIRE COME UP FROM THE OCEAN AND THEN SAW AN EXPLOSION. EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. And then we never heard from then again.

rrrglynn missile tests right below flight 800. 3 submarines and a surface ship were almost directly below the flight. W105, and W106a-b were activated naval test gunnery areas used to test missiles. U.S. navy shot down a target drone in this same area weeks before the incident as part of ongoing C.E.C exercises testing coastal interdiction with submarines launched surface to air missiles and aircraft sending targeting information to submarines using lasers. There was a AQM-74 target drone launched prior incident and was on a altitude and ground track to intercept 800. 200 some witnesses saw a missile go up from the surface and hit 800. Some witnesses saw two missiles with two separate high order explosions with white flashes before the breakup of 800. Aluminum perchlorate solid rocket propellant residues inside the plane and on interior bulkheads.Rdx and PETN residues were found inside the plane and on the outside. Fbi and the navy admitted to classified tests conducted under flight 800. There was a NP-3D Orion flying close by performing radar telemetry retransmission consistent with a missile exercise. The navy withheld critical evidence from the reconstruction (drone and missile parts). The ntsb recorded the fbi at night altering, removing, and modifying critical evidence.They got it on tape. A U.S. court found the ntsb guilty of fraud, mishandling evidence, and proposing a false crash theory. The Cia completely subverted the investigation. Do some research, I beg you.

Here's the primary reason why the 'exploding center fuel tank' theory is bogus. The 'official narraitve' as to the cause of this crash goes back to the year 1969 when the first 747's were built in it's first year of service. Boeing had addressed this wiring issue that was found to be in their 747 jets......However, by Sept. of that year,......all the wiring in those planes had been yanked out and the center fuel tank was redesigned. The TWA 800 plane was built in 1971 under the new design and therefore, never had the wiring issue. The Clinton administration had dug up this 'wiring issue' report from Boeing's records from 36 years earlier to try to use it as the 'official narrative' (propaganda) as to the 'official cause' of the explosion of the center fuel tank. The reality is, the Navy shot it down by mistake as TWA 800 was misidentified as a target drone after the flight had flown into an active Navy ordinance testing zone. It was purely an accident.
@arturoeugster2377
2 жыл бұрын
That is exactly what happened. Analizing the air volume and the fuel residue, the energy released could not have destroyed the load bearing structure. But the ignition of the kerosene fuel ( jet A-1) fumes left in the empty tank, is not achievable even with a jet engine high voltage igniter. Let alone a spark from a wire shorting another. The fuel must be in form of a fine spray. Personal experience after rebuilding a jet engine (T-62) and the fuel injection nozzles, (one of which is directly in front of the igniter) which took many iterations until it finally lit.

I have copy and pasted the fax letter that was sent by retired Brigadier General, Benton K. Partin(1925 - 2019) on October 4, 1996, seven weeks after the TWA incident to the lead TWA-800 investigator in New York.......The fax confirms the missile story and stated as follows: "I did the initial design, development, and test of the first several continuous-rod warheads for the MOMARC missile in the 1956-7 time period. This was done at the Ballistic Research Labs at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. I carried several to Socorro, New Mexico for testing in a special arena nearby. A proximity fused, continuous-rod (CR) missile warhead is the only target destruction system I know that would be consistent with all damage assessment information I have seen in the open media. The destructive mechanism is unique to that type of warhead. You would not see blast or blast-frag damage. Neither would you see residuals from explosives. The instantaneous kill is unique to that warhead type, The CR warhead is the most difficult to perfect even with many design iterations. I would encourage you to have someone reassess the recovered structure who is familiar with the unique structural kill of a CR warhead. If I can be of any help, let me know." ..........................................signed, B.G.,Benton K. Partin(Ret.) This confirms the Clinton Administration cover-up of this accident. You were right all along, 153.

Can you please provide one airborne witness, as airborne witnesses in deed, had the best unobstructed view ever; where they reported any naval armada in the area? There was no need to "investigate' whether or not there were any 'naval vessels' in the area (at the time of the event) Given that Ships Movement is a matter of public records, in as far as which ships, where they are or were stationed, and what times the ships departed and then returned. In fact, the DON reported and disclosed what Naval assets were in the Atlantic, and where they were, and the small group of ships were well south and on routine maneuvers. As well, a P-3 Orion had passed the general airspace to head south to work with a few subs and surface ships. The DON cannot 'hide' ships maneuvers. And you were not 'privy' to any 'facts' that those who work with the ships on the piers and the tugs and the administrative actions taken for any ships movement are not known. I would know, as I'm former Navy. This accident was not the result of US naval missile fire. This was established in Federal Court, though you have been lagging on your homework. cheers. :)

When large passenger airplanes crash because of suspected, inherent design flaws, you get complete groundings of ALL of the aircraft of that type until the flaws are found and rectified. That's what happened after the DC-10 crash at Chicago's O'Hare Airport on May 25, 1979 and that's what happened when the Concorde crashed in Paris in the summer of 2000. The same thing happened a few years ago when a Boeing 737 Max crashed and ALL of that specific derivative of the 737 were grounded for an extended period of time until an extensive safety evaluation could be made. How many 747's existed by 1996? Maybe a thousand? How many were grounded? ZERO. ZERO Boeing 747's were grounded, even though investigators ruled the explosion was due to a spark caused by faulty wiring. Huh? C'mon... that's the tell right there. THAT is the smoking gun. It's because they knew that jet was safe. It's always been safe. Liars. Corrupt FBI. Corrupt military. Corrupt America.

Yes, time seems to fly by. No pun intended. We took the CIA and the NTSB to Federal court and sued them for 'Certain of Crash Records' and won a most favorable decision by the court. You won't find _this news_ on the court case, on any _mainstream media_ because the NTSB does not want the world to know that they are crooks and *were caught* by an Independent investigation. (But I am not giving up.) The 'International Association of machinists and Aerospace workers' report, as other NTSB reports *are clear* that [A missile] and in this case, [The missile of concern] was an (X type research vehicle - supersonic) that _unfortunately_ ended up on a collision course with the 747 climb out phase. This [missile] was on FAA radar and the FAA supplied the radar data for our *court case* Cut and paste these two links into BING: 'TWA 800 / NLJ' 'Major court ruling in TWA 800 case' Please pass this info along. Investigators never disclosed ATC data to the public - why is that? 4) Who on board would be worth the trouble for US government to cover this up and for the CIA and FBI to suppress eyewitness testimonies observing missile launches?

The NTSB showed that the fuel got MORE than hot enough to ignite. Not a question of weather it might ignite. It would.

Actually they do all the time. 800 fueled both wing tanks which was more than enough to get them to their destination. ..."actually they do all the time"....'what'? The center fuel tank, per the statement, is not a main tank. So as I stated, the plane did not depart with an empty main tank, for clarification. Yes, I am former Navy Aviation and understand how aircraft are fueled, when, where, how, and why. however, in this case, the TWA jet was filled with more fuel than was reported by the NTSB. (that being the nominal source of information on the case) But Docket material consisting of thousands of 'other' pages, have or consist of records not made available to the general public unless a specific query is made and researched. I was a consultant for Ray Lahrs FOIA lawsuit, and have those specific dockets. The 747 had more fuel. (as I see your next post)
@robshef718

According to the NTSB, the aircraft was estimated to have had around 'fifty' gallons of fuel in the center tank, however, after having done an audit on various elements, this is not true. With the need for far more details, which there I no space for here, lol.... the NTSB being found for Fraud and data manipulation, when they were taken to federal court, would annul their entire scenario of a hot and empty tank that had an 'electrical issue' which blew the tank up and thus the entire font end of the plane off... neither which are true. The CIA under court order, released documents which only exposed the Fraud even more.

I remember that when this happened , the news went crazy and a few live feeds showed a large number of cars coming into the White House parking area. I wonder if this was retribution for the US shooting down an Iranian jet liner and Bill Clinton had to make a call on whether or not to counter retaliate. Obviously not. I hope that Iran did not demand that our own navy shoot down one of our own flights. That is what we probably need to be investigating. From Wikipedia- 3 July 1988 3 July 1988 Iran Air Flight 655. Iran Air Flight 655 was a scheduled passenger flight from Tehran to Dubai via Bandar Abbas, that was shot down on 3 July 1988 by an SM-2MR surface-to-air missile fired from USS Vincennes, a guided missile cruiser of the United States Navy.

6 жыл бұрын
You would be basically correct in that aspect. Because 'had' the "center wing section" exploded, the [wing section] would have collapsed. The CWS is the STRONGEST portion of the airframe with the keel beam, and in that, that 'section' is what BEARS, the entire LOAD. The ENTIRE NTSB 'scenario' is bunk, and this was Proven in Federal Court. BTW, the front section did not detach (as has been shown in the NTSB video) The left wing was the FIRST 'structural' piece to fail, [at the wing left root] when the 747 was impacted by a SuperSonic target Drone. The plane rolled to the SOUTH and in the fall corridor, the front section then separated. Your question about the fuel tank? You can google an image/ diagram of the 747 wing fuel tanks. But no, The entire WING is the Fuel storage. I was a consultant in the Independent Investigation and provided several technical essays to Captain Ray Lahr during his FOIA lawsuit against the NTSB and CIA. I am former US Navy Aviation Boatswain.

That plane was shot down by a kinetic missile. I was watching TV at the time of the crash and the first reporter on the scene was filming the fire on the water that you could see very easy because it was still dark at the time. Two military chief warrant officer helicopter pilots were being interviewed about what they saw and they both said they saw a missile streak toward and hit flight 800. I only saw that interview live the only time it was aired. Those two pilots were ever seen or heard from again. One month after the plane was shot down it was reported that a truck load of kinetic missiles was stolen from the military and they managed to recover all the missiles but one. I wonder where it went? I don't care what the gooberment says about this crash....THAT PLANE WAS SHOT DOWN.

If I had a Penny for every time I heard...(from you non Aviation types in here) that _I'm wrong_ I would be richer than Trump and Bloomberg combined. Using the word 'military' is a very wide canvass. And based on the 'text' it would seem convenient to merely assume that there was some spin in the 'explanation', which actually is correct, when the government said that the plane was 'not shot down' because it was not 'shot down'.... Doesn't mean that they have to volunteer anymore information than that. They have a right not to self incriminate themselves. So *that is why* we took the CIA and NTSB to federal court and sued them for Certain of, Crash Records. (*We won* a most favorable decision from the court!) We proved (at the least) that the NTSB's theory of an exploding jar of peanut butter is impossible. So having well impeached the NTSB record for Fraud is a good start. So essentially, the 'cover up' has been exposed.

I remember that day (Next Morning) during news coverage which, news coverage had Navy Ships in the area during this incident. I am not talking about response and clean up but during the explosion. Since then any involvement which implicates the United States Navy has not been suggested however, do believe an accident as such could of happened having been in the USN and familiar with wiring internal to said fuel tanks, with said voltages, currents involved. FAA immediately suspected Kapton wiring which, has since been replaced by Continuous Teflon coated wiring, See: www.vision.net.au/~apaterson/aviation/kapton_mangold.htm] www.vision.net.au/~apaterson/aviation/kapton_mangold.htm So who do you believe?

How about there's no scientific reality this suggests that causing a spark in the middle of a nearly empty fuel tank, would occur at exactly the right oxygen fuel ratio that would be required to support an explosive reaction. You need fuel, oxygen, in a very specific ratio, before you can't even support ignition, or in this case they're claiming detonation. A nearly empty fuel tank sitting on a hot Runway with air conditioning systems running underneath it for several hours will have that fuel tank so full of fuel vapor that there would be 0 possibility of enough oxygen available to support even in the ignition, much less a detonation. The science doesn't support this assertion. And there has been no other occurrence of this ever happening in the millions and millions of flights that have occurred since the modern jet age began. Not even lightning strikes have caused such things. The only time we've ever seen explosive reactions is when fuel is leaking outside of the fuel system where there's enough oxygen to support ignition.
@jonahmoran3751
3 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind This was before they used nitrogen to displace oxygen in the fuel tank. So oxygen was in there. ALSO THE AC heated the jet fuel a lot on the ground but not to flashpoint however this changed when they took flight. Since the ac takes hot air out of the engines and cools it. It heats the fuel tank and then makes it go double flashpoint. Faulty wiring outside the fuel tank(which is proven by the wreckage that was reassembled in a building as wires showed bad insulation and wires repaired with tape) even with the jet fuel now being vapor it shouldn’t be able to ignite because the wiring that goes into the fuel tank is just too low of a voltage to create a short circuit or spark. But the faulty wiring allowed a high voltage current from a high voltage wiring to jump to low voltage wiring and that wiring travels to the fuel tank. And it short circuits. This short circuit is also proven by the flight recorder just before the explosion there are two minuscule microsecond pauses in the recording. Proof that the recorder lost power for those moments because of a short circuit. The inevitable happens. An explosion. People on the ground as the explosion happens don’t notice it until a minute later where some people start noticing stuff in the sky then an explosion (the plane likely already crashed into the ocean.)

-"And there has been no other occurrence of this ever happening in the millions and millions of flights that have occurred since the modern jet age began." Wrong! Thai Airways International Flight 114, and Philippine Airlines Flight 143 were both destroyed in similar circumstances, and you can't argue a missile there because they both happened on the ground. -"Not even lightning strikes have caused such things." Wrong again! Pan Am flight 214 was brought down by lightning, which ignited the fuel tanks.

The NTSB 1997 Evergreen Freighter 747 center tank test over NYC ( daytime, bright sun, temps in the 90's) filled the tank with temp sensors. Out of the fifty or so, ONLY ONE SENSOR DETECTED ULLAGE vapor that could be ignited by arcing wires. And those wires would need to be at that particular location in an area the size of a two car garage. So the notion that the whole tank was explosive is not accurate. Also, why was a "freighter" used , during daytime, hotter weather? Kinda of pushing the theory along?

PA2002 the U.S. navy shot it down accidentally during a Aegis system C.E.C exercise testing missiles launched from submarines with a NP-3D Orion flying close by performing radar telemetry retransmission to the ships below. There was a AQM-74 target drone that struck 800, and 1 or 2 missiles proximity detonated. The area's near 800 (W106a-b and W105)were active naval gunnery areas used to test missiles. The navy shot down a drone near this same area weeks before the incident. The navy admitted to classified tests conducted under flight 800, so did the Fbi. The navy withheld critical evidence (drone parts and missile parts) from the reconstruction. Fbi was removing evidence that showed missile damage and modifying the wreckage. Ntsb caught the fbi on video altering evidence from the reconstruction.

PA2002 The navy activated the M.O.A. and adjacent areas, you can still find on a FAA map, several hours before. Copies of the activation memo sent to the FAA is still available online. The ceiling for 106a-b and surrounding test areas was listed as 10,000ft msl. The navy shot down a target drone in this same area weeks before the incident. No One reasonable has postulated it was intentional. But the drone and missiles were operating outside of the restricted test areas, both in altitude and location. The drone may have struck 800 right before one of the missiles proximity detonated. Some witnesses saw two missiles with two separate high order explosions. There was so much navy activity near 800, plus the curious use of the navy to locate the black boxes and plane parts. The cia and fbi have a lot of disinformation in the winds, they often "leak" fake stories. The bulk of information is public knowledge. I would encourage you to believe no one, not even me, and research it for yourself. Best of luck to you.

PA2002 I personally believe, and I think the evidence shows, it was a military accident, albeit a tragic and serious one, but a accident. The navy has shot down civilian airliners before. The U.S.S. Vincennes for example. The Aegis system has a history of misidentifing civilian aircraft as hostile and the navy and it's contractors have updated and improved the system, but it has flaws. The Aegis system misidentified the commercial airliner as a enemy aircraft, in the case of the Vincennes it identified it as a f-14. The system incorrectly thought the airliner was descending, but in fact was climbing. There is some negligence on the Navy's part, why would they be performing missile tests near a high density civilian airway.
