Uff this is exactly how i feel. I used to be depressed and these guys really helped me get out of that zone. If i was ever getting to anxious i would listen to them and calm down. The only times i would smile would be when i would see tyler and josh smiling and laughing! Now sadly i dont connect to the song as much. Like i still love them but now i dont spend so much time in the fandom and thus in turn feel i am loosing touch with them. I feel sad about it. But every single song, release, album, show still makes me feel so much! Like these guys still are the only ones that offer me comfort through music and that can never go away!!

@@irelandaintirish4305 You can see the tears in his eyes and even if they weren't there, it's always hard to go back to an era before things have changed. Trees especially has been always so special for them and the audience and such an emotional song. Combining it with the music you have now and being able to see the past and the present, how you've changed and grown and how your career and audience have changed and grown too... Trees is my favorite song by TØP, so hearing this version of it was amazing, and I'm in love. Trees was my song when I was depressed, anxious, just anything. It has ALWAYS been my comfort song, and hearing this version of it is amazing. These past 3 months have been really rough for me. My mom died 3 days before I turned 18 and I'm just struggling to want to stay alive. But everytime I'm down, I think of this song. Just. This. One. And it reminds me that I'm still here, and I need to just be. Alive. And to take it, all of this. One day at a time. This is a reminder to take it a day at a time if you're feeling down, or anything. Stay alive friends |-/

i really love how these 2 songs not just sonically but also lyrically compliment each other like heathens are people who dont believe in any god or not part of any religious ideologies but how the song transitions from quiet rebellious sound of heathens unto a beautiful calming song which is trees in which, after all he (tyler) just wants to know if God really is there so he could know that his life isnt in vain, his fears will be gone and that there is really someone to believe in despite not seeing any proof. daammn tyler, just pure artistry!

Tyler's lyrics and tone are the best when he is writing about the insecurities and doubts he has about his faith. The sincerity, the passion, and the trust is made all the more powerful by the reality that we all have question, about whatever we choose to believe in. This is my favorite band, because it's not whitewashed Christian music, it's real people, singing some of their songs to a real God, and they just need Him to hear them.

Every time I listen to this, it just amazes me at Tyler’s vocal ability and how wonderful he is! I love this band so much and can’t wait to see them again live 9/24! They always bring a new show each time and this one is going to be epic! Can’t wait!!!!!!

I remember Trees was my absolute favorite song at the time of going to my first TØP concert. I was still new to their music and didn't know much about their concerts. Let me tell you when they played Trees near the ending I felt so happy. Such a wonderful experience

Es tan magnífica, formidable y tranquilizadora su voz, el ukelele y la escenografía, un trabajo asombroso por parte de Tyler, Josh y todo el equipo.

I can't make it to one of their concerts but seeing this again made me cry because I really want to sing along to trees with a thousand people in the same place again.

Recuerdo cantar Trees en su concierto a todo pulmón un mes después de que falleció mi tía y fue lo más hermoso que me ha pasado en un concierto. No paraba de llorar, como ahora que veo este video y me acuerdo de ella. Gracias Tyler ❤️
