After a long IVF journey, Nicole and her husband were elated when they found out that they were expecting twin boys. Their world would soon come crashing down after the boys were diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion syndrome.
After weighing up their options, they decided the best choice was to undergo a highly specialised operation at The Royal, the only hospital in Sydney able to perform this lifesaving surgery to save both boys.
Nicole's twins were born at 29 weeks underwent months of care at The Royal's Newborn Intensive Care Unit. They are now healthy, thriving boys.
