Jimi Jamison was such an incredible voice. He had a great sound. As soon as he started singing you automatically knew it was Jimi. Vital Signs was a great album. They also had songs for Rocky III (Eye of the Tiger) and Rocky IV (Burning Heart) movies. Jimi also had his solo song "I'm Always Here" as the theme song to the hit TV show "Baywatch". Sadly, we lost Jimi in 2014. He's sorely missed. RIP Jimi.

Saw them in concert in 2012!! Really disappointing because the sound guy had the music amped up too loud, couldn’t hear Jimi’s singing very well!!

When this song came out in the summer of 1984 it was everywhere, and MTV played the video constantly for months.

Jimi’s one of Rocks greatest voices! Before Survivor stole him away, he had his own band, Cobra. Their album First Strike from 1983 was awesome. You should check out “What Love Is” and “Looking At You” from that Cobra album. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Tiny thing most don't notice - the tambourine is used on the 2 and 4 of the whole song. Makes the snare sound better

Check out his last video at Elk Village in 2014 singing this song in 2014. He was 63 years old and still sounded fantastic. Sadly, he died that same year.

If you love the synth I got you. For all your hard work. This is KYGO w/ A-HA performing “Take On Me” live. If you’ve not seen the ORIGINAL, A-Ha video of the song. Do that first. This version is arranged much differently and of course has KYGO mixing it up Its beautiful (Definitely reaction worthy if your so inclined prior to watching) kzitem.info/news/bejne/kXyArH95p4ulgWksi=jTQ8zV5DoVyx73I2

@@David_Theisen Love every one of those you listed! I might add Silver Girl, Caught in the Game, Half Life and Oceans, which I think has some of Frankie Sullivan's best guitar work.
