To Riri, I know what you mean, by being suspended by twitter for not using it for enough time. I’m unable to get help to reset my password because I forgot what it was and it keeps saying that I have an account but it doesn’t let me login to that account. Like I actually don’t understand how it can be receiving likes and comments and followers, but I cannot change my password because I forgot it. Do you know an easier way to do it besides using Facebook? I think that was the issue that I linked them and then I stopped using my Facebook account, that is still active too.

Amazon, Google and others still employ more people than they did at the start of 2020, even after massive layoffs. Meanwhile, Twitter went from circa 7500 to 1300 (and will likely continue to shrink). The two are not comparable in any way. At least unless they lay off more than 80% percent of their workforce, I'd absolutely LOVE to see them try that.

Most companies over hired during the pandemic so layoff’s are the result of correcting needless over hiring. No sane company will implement “elon style” cuts because it would lead to product/feature stagnation and service blackouts/bugs. The only reason why he implementing drastic layoffs is because advertisers are leaving Twitter and combined with twitter not making a lot money at the moment to justify the billions he spent on it.
