It's good to see the silent master again. You really have some of the best looking timber I have ever seen. Those first two stems were some good looking poplars clear for over forty feet it looks like. Thanks for the videos and keeper safe out there.

That skidder is identical to the one I ran in the 90s I loved it ours was in perfect condition I even steamed it off and painted it.put new seat on it.. that baby would scream.those 225s really are quick getting around in the woods..our brakes worked perfectly.. I miss those days working with my dad..never would have gave it up but needed more $$ plus health insurance

Love seeing the mighty 390XP eat again and is that a 28” or 32” bar ? . Glad you’re in good health and still getting it done .You have the most awesome timber around . . Great video and thanks for sharing . One day it would be cool to see the lumber that comes out of those trees at the mill . I also really enjoy the videos of the truck loading the trees after you buck them . 😎

back in the old days U 😮😮 would have axes wedges and a old 2 man cross cut saw 2 cut trees down U used a cable around the trees and had climbing spikes 2 climb a tree and later on there was chainsaws the tree cutters wasn't even thought of yet U used a steam donkey horses or a bulldozer no skidders either until later on also the early skidders was back in the 196OS that I know of / horses had been around ever since the 14OOS and were used on farms 4 heavy draft work plowing fields then later on steam engines was used then there was gas and diesel tractors and also bulldozers also done alot of field work years ago 😊😊 OMG 6 18 2O24

Back barring is a little more work sometimes, but it sure beat walking around with your britches soaked with stagnant water and coon piss when they happen to be holler...🙄
