As I was watching the video I was trying to remember if I had ever passed anyone on my Royal Enfield 500, other than farm equipment. I think the answer is no but then again I am pretty happy riding at 50 mph on the 500. I'm not sure riders who haven't tried these bikes will get the peacefulness and richness of these bikes. Beautiful country and roads especially next to the water.

There has been the odd occasion that I’ve overtaken cars on the 500. Ernie always gets a pat on the tank after doing so. I find the attraction of the Classic’s very hard to put into words. “Richness” I like that. ‘Vibrant’ perhaps. ‘Character’ of course. Many thanks, Flap Cap 👍🏼

@@Saddlebags73 Hi SB, yes, you called the Classic 350 Buddy in a previous comment and I failed to pull you up on it 😳 The Meteor is called Buddy and the Classic still has no name because I am not sure if it is male or female yet ( thinking female - for REASONS ! 😂 ). Just slap a caption over it if you got it wrong, no problem. So to confirm, Buddy is my Meteor and my Classic is currently still sans nom. Just finished editing tomorrow's video actually. Really, I wanted to show the whole ride but it would have been a 45 minute video, so I had to get ruthless with it. I got it down to a more palatable 25 minutes in the end but some lovely scenery got chopped. I was expecting the second part of the ride to be boring but as it turned out, the goat track turned into another gorgeous new mountain road, so I had to show a bit of that as well ! Oh well.
