That's exactly the same what I've always complain about some foot pedals. Cord position, pivot point, foot area and base stability. Specially a solid build so you can put your weight on it to move positions and not be standing all your weight on just one leg. That's why I started building my own pedals 😂. Nice to hear you talking on the videos now bro. Thanks for the amazing work.

Lincoln pedals work pretty good. I learned tig welding on those and a Lincoln Aspect. Used them for years repairing mining wheels at General Electric. They work well. Especially in cramped tight spots when you have to use your elbow to light the arc with the pedal. Welders tend to be primadonnas when it comes to equipment. I prefer Lincoln over Miller any day of the week. Miller foot pedals are good too. To be honest it’s all the same to weld with once you get used to it.

An old guy told me, the smaller pedal is not a foot pedal. It’s a chin pedal that goes under you helmet and chin. For very off balance positions. It is now obsolete by the TIG button!

Im' a big fan. Thanks for all your vids, ideas and the button.. I do fairly large projects what means I have to be all over the table from all sides. shuffling that foot pedal around with me standing on one foot leaning on the table trying to get that pedal the right way under my foot. besides that I was fixing the cable to it all the time (tangling up and kinked, or run over with the seat. Now I have your Tig button. work is much faster more accurate and most of all it saves my back. So thanks again. Easy peasy:: Touch it real light and listen for gas flowing and light er up. I'm not a Heron. I need two feet to stand still.

Im from germany, and used the Rehm foot pedal a long time. Its the perfect design I think. All aluminum housing, diamond plate on top, heel stop of course, so its very light to kick around. And these things hold up very well. No I use an EWM welder, and the EWM foot pedal is out of cast iron I think. Just unnecessary heavy. I always want to try your tig button, but now Im way less into tig welding. A tig job comes up maybe one time in two or three weeks.
