Personally, I don't mind losing some percentages later on when my doctor is nicely trained up in favor of making the room look absolutely fabulous. :)

I have to play the game in sandbox mode to release my inner designer!! I’m never really on a level long enough for it to bug me too much! Plus I use templates for most rooms now so it’s speedy!

Just made me want to play this game again, been a while. One thing I add to GP rooms is coffee/gumball machines. On idle the doc will go get a drink or a gumball dealing with thirst/stamina and hunger respectively. Worth losing a couple % early game when good drs are scarce if you can keep the ones you have working longer. I also replace the gold stars at the desk end with posters, they provide happiness in the area the patient/dr are mostly hanging about, gold stars only provide prestige

I hear you! I love just jumping in to mess around and just enjoy the game. It’s so easy to pick up and put down it’ll be like the good old days! Hopefully it’s convinced you to subscribe too 😌 So I agree with the coffee machine etc, however I usually find that end game by GP’s are never idle, it’s the same as putti by a chair in the pharmacy for the idle nurse. Good to know about the posters! Will check it out for sure although I’ve never had an employee happiness issue yet.

No way! It’s only in certain rooms they have them in so might be that. GP’s office, psychiatry, ward, fracture ward, injection room, pharmacy and surgery!

I know this is way late, but I find adding a coffee machine in my rooms to help with their stamina, as it gives them more energy and allows them to go longer before a break. Then I just stack them to level four of what ever profession they are and do stamina again as their last training slot.

Coffee machines works a charm! Same with candy dispensers! Personally I’d do level 5 on any diagnosis staff member as the extra % diagnosis on those tough illnesses are worth more than the extra 7-8 days the dr/nurse will work for with the stamina trait.

Get the Retro dlc and you'll have an old weight machine to sub for the medicine cabinet. Same effect of increasing your doctor's diagnosis skill, but they need no access space and the staff do not interact with them, so you can stack them next to each other without leaving an access path. I can fit 30 of them into a 4x3 GP Office without a sweat, with enough room for desk, filing cabinet, coffee maker, radiator/AC, gumball machine, trash can, and an entertainment item. That takes care of all staff needs except toilet.

Sounds amazing!! I try to have solid options without using any DLC items just incase people haven’t bought them themselves. I will 100% check this out though as it sounds like a great space saver! Thanks for letting me know and don’t forget to subscribe!

I hear ya, and it is probably best to use only the main game items in tutorial videos and the like since they are the only items you know all players can access (with enough Ks). That retro pack also has a gramaphone, which will brighten your atmosphere like a plant but covers a larger area than most decor items. They are $600 apiece but then again, they take up only 1 space and you don't have to water them! Cheers.

Again! Literally amazing! I might buy it and then have a play around in sandbox mode to see what it’s like. Yeah the only time I use DLC items is in the actual DLC videos themselves but even then I try to keep them to a minimum, along with the multiplayer items too. Thanks for letting me know this! Feel free to keep providing nuggets of information for everyone.

When I get to the the warm locations, do I need more space for A/Cs? Are they needed in individual rooms?
@PowerPlays

Yes each room has its own temperature control so you will need an air con in each room. Or if you don’t want to be repairing air cons all the time you could use ice sculptures.

If you try this kind of min/maxed rooms on the switch it will very quicly go belly up and warn you that you have too many objects.... wich is a shame, i like this style of gaming. Its silly and fun

Oh no! Maybe you can just reduce it slightly and it’ll still give you a big boost early on!
