Hey - that's my mama! I can say firsthand, she's really forged her path and been dedicated for many years to sharing this message. She's the one who first told me about you, Andrew, and the magic of potatoes. My husband and I did the potato reset and ended up losing quite a bit of weight as well. Anyway. Thanks for touching lives! Like a pebble in the water, many many ripples which may never even become known

I'm with you, Wendy, and Andrew. I take a long list of things to the store to make some great dish, but half way through shopping, I say, "Naw..." and buy my potatoes, Brown rice, fresh veg, and greens, and some frozen vegis that I've come to like. Keeps it simple, and so far, so good. Love hearing from Wendy, and other super spuddies. It's so important to know how to eat this way. Thank you, Andrew, for bringing these great stories to us.

I had the telephone pole thought too !! It must be fairly common 😳 PS I’ve been wfpb since August and watching something daily regarding this lifestyle and hearing peoples stories keeps me inspired AND gaining the knowledge regarding calorie density has been priceless! I’ve lost 13 lbs staying full and I laugh about it! I always thought of losing weight as being hungry but now I stay so satisfied. I just wish I had known this sooner 😆

Thanks for being a real world example of how simple it is to eat healthy, and a fellow aussie helps a bit too. I've been trying to eliminate animal products from my diet for over a year now, and the only time I do eat some, is when I cant find a decent veg alternative. I hate eating greens but like potatoes. So seeing that you can thrive on just potatoes is really helpful and inspiring. Thanks for doing all these videos. I think its just as important as the info the plant based drs give. Gives me more confidence in implementing their information.

Loved this interview! So happy for you Wendy! Thank you for sharing your story! 🙏🏽 About the calorie counting thing, I so agree with you Andrew! I tried calorie counting again to lose the last 15-20 lbs since switching to a plant based diet and not too long after, it became easy to justify eating desserts again just because they fit into my calorie ‘budget’ for the day. And sure, they were healthier desserts than what I used to eat especially with me making them, but I started to feel like I was getting obsessed with food and trying new recipes again when I had been really enjoying keeping my food boring, reduced decision fatigue and reduced cravings. So right now I’m doing a potato reset to get back on track and I’m really loving going back to basics!

Great interview and congratulations to Wendy on her achievements including inspiring and helping other people!!!! I hired Andrew to help me and he radically help me I became potato-centric and now they soundly maintain a 40 pound weight loss I mix it up much more diversify my diet Whole Foods plant based oil free and maintain 40 pound weight. I was vegan but eating foods highly addictive with tons of oil which is a trap that transitioning vegans can fall into I was a victim of a violent crime and I still lamb in October to be nine years of them lying Gaslighting being Teflon than a pedophile priests so I haven't healed but I stopped grossly over eating foods that we're going to harm me my health and self esteem like the abuse from the MD office. Foods that are highly addictive are processed even if they're vegan so I stay away from those I don't consider myself a food addict but I do consider foods laced w/ oil addictive. Definitely finding your fire the passionate motivation for me it was to fold a phone call from regarding bloodwork that I was .1 pre-diabetic and diabetes doesn't run in my family and the other was that I had problems getting out of the bed one day literally to go to the bathroom my back hurt me so much my joints so losing weight took so much pressure off my joints. I still wrestle with joint pain but it's not as terrible having to carry 40 extra pounds. And she's great with mine said he's patient he's kind and he's really smart he got me jumping rope and I do like some squats and calf raises jump rope go for a walk he got me to understand Cleaning makes me feel good so Andrew Taylor really taught me about taking positive actions to feel good he is really smart beyond just the potatoes but about mine said an action and working out! I love him and Mandy and his family....There a comfort and joy to watch especially during a pandemic

Awesome video, the calorie counting I never thought was normal even though I tried it myself for weight loss , I thought every animal on earth doesn’t count calories except for us humans so I started to think there is something seriously wrong with our species because to me it just seems to be not normal to live counting calories so we can eat and watch our weight , you never see a lion or buffalo, cheetah or monkey count calories just us .
@rezzieggg
Жыл бұрын
That’s how I feel too! Then I also think about the other foods we invented that don’t exist naturally in nature that does make calorie counting helpful, especially if one wants to continue eating a lot of those processed foods. But I’m with you, I’d rather rely on whole food, water-rich plant based foods as God/ nature intended and not worry about counting calories.

My two groups in Facebook-- The first shows my experience with a two-week potato reset, and is full of BEFORE / AFTER pics. In that group, I've included useful inspirational materials which helped keep me motivated, along with updates on my current progress with weight maintenance: facebook.com/groups/358929261457917/?ref=share ========================== The second group features recipes that have been useful to me, featuring holiday and celebration recipes which have been converted to WFPBNO.... And so far, no sugar! Also sharing inspirational materials and nutrition news/ information. I started this group to share converted recipes for Thanksgiving so we can enjoy this holiday with family and friends while not pummeling our bodies with fat and processed foods. Recently made an album on CARROT CAKE, for example, to be served at my brother's birthday. Use the SEARCH tool above the group masthead to find it. These holiday recipes are pretty and tasty: facebook.com/groups/433878950602947/?ref=share I've made a lot of albums to show favorite recipes or ideas, full of pics for illustration. Andrew, super random side note but I was so surprised when you said you were actually vegan for ages prior to the spud fit challenge. I think I have literally watched every video from the spud fit challenge and don't recall you even mentioning it before. Just seemed so odd, and just goes to show that even a vegan diet can be silly. Imagine how had it would have been had to eaten a standard diet.
