If you choose to reoffend knowing the weight of your actions there is no one to blame, but yourself. This conversation was never about "guidance" so there is nothing to address regarding "failing to understand."

I’m a teacher at an Alternative School and work with 3rd and 4th grade students. Majority of the students that get sent to us can’t read bro, the system is set up for children of color to fail and go to jail unfortunately. Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade teachers are put under pressure to not get fired and the students aren’t tested or checked if they have learned how to read. It’s a school to prison pipeline for real
