Ty is one of my favorite reoccurring talking heads on SonicState. The guy doesn't hold back with his thoughts, and appears to be a genuine guy. Not to mention, he has the street cred and chops to back it up. Wonderful to see a bit into his workflow. Many thanks for sharing.

Marshal Arnold - I used to work at a pro audio retailer in Birmingham, Ty was a regular and one of our most favourite customers. One time he ordered a couple of Nuendo PC systems (iirc) and he asked if we’d be able to deliver them one Saturday. We didn’t generally do personal Saturday deliveries but as it was Ty, not a problem. One condition though - once delivered he would have to take me out in his VX220 roadster. Good as gold we went for a blast down the lanes. He didn’t need much persuading! So I can confirm what most already know or suspect, he’s a genuinely nice bloke :-) Oh, and he generally knew more about the gear he was buying than we did! And we were pretty clued up.

Im a bit dissapointed Ty did not expose himselves playing a complete live set. I am still a bit mad at him for calling colin benders out in saying that he couldnt believe it was interesting enough at 12 hrs shows online... Ever seen the guy Ty? His genius makes this movie look like a bit of **** fiddling! Anyways no disrespect to anyone here but I would like to see something interesting from someone who calls out others who show mere genius every time again and again. In the studio we all excell but on live ground it is rare to see interesting acts. Colin should be part of this show imho!
