Even though his production has always been amazing I feel like when you go into making a beat knowing you’re not gonna rap over it, it leaves a lot more room for you to show off your production chops without having to leave room for your vocals in the mix and it seems like it really inspired him to create something that sounds even more unique. Symphony Orchestras and hip hop have always been my top favorite genres. However, I was raised in urban LA and I would always get clowned on for liking Bossa Nova, Jazz, or watching KZitem videos about John Williams composing the London Symphony Orchestra and I would hate it so much. So you can only imagine how tight it was the first time I heard Treemhome95 and Wolf by Tyler. IT WAS SICK!!! Never in my life did I ever conceive of the idea of seeing not just Tyler work on this this classic masterpiece but have it conducted by GUSTAVO DUDAMEL, who just so happens to conduct the LA Philharmonic since forever. Growing up Hispanic, there was never someone who I could look up to in the classical music scene who I can relate to until I saw Gustavo perform live during a school field trip in elementary. It was inspiring to learn that he grew up in the slums of Venezuela in extreme poverty to now being a world renowned conductor and has also created his own youth orchestras back in his home country and in the gentrified parts throughout LA. That’s where my passion for the genre exploded. While The whole class was asleep or getting distracted, I felt like I was in a movie so drawn to the performance alongside my teacher. We also had front row balcony seats (which are stupid expensive). What’s even more insane is that field trip was organized by Gustavo wanting to invite the whole school district for free Oh yeah and he conducted the London symphony orchestra for Star Wars so the whole class definitely missed out haha

I gotta say the one thing that's stuck out in every bit of his music has to be his use of the high end. The man is amazing with high pitched synths, String sections and the utilization of vocalists. The amount of doom, quicys jones, and pharell jammed into this guys brain is magnificent to say the least
@ericlovesyou8910

Unbelievable with the high pitched synths. I’ve been listening to Tyler for years now and it’s common to get full body chills when listening to his instrumentals because of the complete synesthesia. It’s a beautiful feeling. He’s always got like the -6 octave up to the 6th octave filled out just right, it’s magnificent .

omfg I've been into this type of orchestrations for ages, I'm so glad more ppl get to dive into this. lmao in 2-3 years when Tyler's new shit comes out everyone will be like yo check this new track I found and show Henry Mancini or really anyone who composed for Italian movies in the 50s-60s. I love that Tyler's taste and the generosity with which he shares his influences and mixes them actually makes ppl reach outside their bubble for music or shit that they wouldn't look for themself. he's created this massive trampoline into curiosity. My personal favorite is Johnny Harris' footsteps on the moon and the closing credits score for French television France2 in the 80s from michel colombier. TV shows had such great score back then wtf, pretty sure Johnny Harris composed for TV too. Kenny gambles has some great instrumentals as well, like 'down by the sea shore' from phili too. In a different tone Track one of the last waltz album by the Band is electrifying. shit i talked too much xx

This is magic Sounds like some Umiliani, Morricone, Cipriani, Micalizzi, Piccioni, et cetera, and pulling off (in Tylers words) “whether it’s a movie, or music everyone tries to recreate the feeling something else gave them, whether for film or music, not necessarily the same thing, but the feeling” similarly to Badbadnotgood for example in presenting their influence / era they drew inspiration from sonically, but are unquestionably ‘themselves’ before that when you hear it.. Like he’s anchored to a uniform sound as it were, and wholly recognizably ‘Tyler’ sound, but with the capability, and reach to make any horizon type shit- from that niche sound in the centre only evolving when it needs to; but not losing familiarity from it’s basis, and always reinforcing himself saying “stop tryna put me in a box” Time stamping my word here that Tyler will have dozen’s of film scores to his name with absolute auteur’s fast fwd ~5-15~ years from now. (To whoever says some “try one year” type shit - fuckin right, given how he’s since been absolutely in the zone like this for over a decades turn now.) It would be so tight if he manages to work with Tarantino on his final film. I hope so.. I mean RZA did - and not to compare the two in their efficacy for that, or to say that Tyler is (and I hate to say it) the ‘smartest’ choice for that or whatever- howbeit he kinda is though. Dude is always reinventing his own ‘100%’ effort in renaissance - he said he wanted that like hell on Larry King, let’s hope it happens.. at least contributively in-part, cuz that would without a doubt come to be a tenfold-turn on whatever his ‘100% effort’ is at the time, if it happened. Fr one of the most admirably forward artist’s alive asll

Track: 0:00 THE SUN ☀ The sun beaming , it shows the title card of the movie, then the camera pans down to a car dashing in a street with barely any cars on the road, surrounded by mother nature. The camera zooms in on the car. It's Tyler, without actually saying anything, he narrates "Some people travel just to explore, but for me it's just a feeling. While we on this road, I'm not only searching for myself, but someone who can accompany me on this lifestyle". Then the camera shows a wide shot of him driving away ( similar to the intro of "WUSYANME" music video). THE DESERT 🏜🌃 Track 3:12 The feeling of this song feels stylish and classy . Therefore, I would make the context of the scene take place at a formal party (GATSBY theme but more modern) during a full moon in Las Vegas. A limo pulls up to the party in a limousine. The camera shows his feet stepping out the vehicle, paparazzi is taking photos, then the camera reveals the fashion of Tyler the Creator; wearing his famous russian hat (black) with shades on, and a black and white tux. He came there for a meeting with one of the musicians for some reason. He's honestly tired and just wants to go home, but then he see's this pretty woman walk by in the party, ominous, but to the crowd of she caught everyones attention, including. Tyler. Tyler has never felt anythuing like this before as he wanted to know who she was. As she disappears through the crowd to find her, but then......... idk to be continued until i can come up with more stuff. The production on this is amazing bro...tyler should produce music for a movie.

I really need Tyler to orchestrate the next James Bond film and/or make the next James Bond theme. I think he would do such a incredibly job with his good ear for music and sampling. I really need this. Or him make the Sims 5 soundtrack pls.
