On my channel here I have metallics sample applied in Africa, and am soon posting a 3d sample, otherwise thanks for the cool tips, though always I see that you prefer industrial more than domestic floor applications.

What kind epoxy you recommend for garage floor that has a lot of salt in cold winter, such as in Canada.
@learncoatings-epoxyfloorin9448
3 жыл бұрын
All salts will in the long run cause some damage to epoxy. I would recommend that it is at least 1-2mm thick so that it does not corrode quickly. If you get freezing temperatures even inside the garage you may want to opt for a polyurethane floor instead

I am new to epoxy and I am interested in starting my business. Do all these types of epoxys require for the concrete to be grounded down beforehand?
@learncoatings-epoxyfloorin9448
4 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely I always recommend surface preparation in advance. Unless you are applying on an existing epoxy floor where light sanding may be sufficient

Not really. The best is to recoat it. Some people try applying a clear coat over it, but you may end up trapping the dirty marks

@@syosta8637 you will leave burn marks that cannot be removed. Epoxy starts to fail at 60-70 degrees celsius
