My mother used to cut up towels that couldn't be used anymore and use them as rags for cleaning. That was 30 years ago. Glad to see someone is still carrying on that tradition of recycling. I am glad you are safe as well.

We use old socks that have lost their mate. Slip one over your hand and it makes it easier to dust.

A tip for your towels is to wash them on a very hot wash with no softeners. You can also add a cup full of distilled vinegar. Hope this helps🤍

The smell comes from mildew build up in HE washing machines. Need more than vinegar to remove that build up. There are products out there that works but I used dish washer powder, yes DISH washer powder. Directions are on Google.

@@georgiakokkinaki I have never boiled my towels, but I put baking soda in a hot wash, especially in the summer because it's so humid here that they never seem to dry completely. Also, I do not use softeners on my towels.

KZitem has certainly made me somewhat paranoid. Since my husband put security cameras outside our home, seeing recordings from these types of cameras that wind up on KZitem, check myself in the mirror before I open the door!

I wish I could clean up this effectively. I have a 3 year old boy and 1 year old twin daughters, they don't leave me much time to do anything besides things like cooking, baths, basic cleaning and of course spending the rest of the time playing and teaching them. I wouldn't trade it for the world but through these videos I feel a bit of satisfaction. Thank you, Nami.

@@dawnw.6559 Thank you for that. I can't imagine my children being those ages. I'm definitely soaking up their childhood though, all the good times and the stressful times. I'm sure it never ends though, my mom has told me multiple times that a woman's (mothers) work is never done. Sounds exhausting but it's also true in a way, it seems there's always something to be done. Haha anyway, thank you for that reply.

I was raised on the Prairies of Canada (Saskatchewan and Alberta) and a recipe my mom always made with a chopped apple, shredded carrot .. handful of walnuts and Mayonnaise to taste... I still make almost once a month and it's as delicious still as in the days of my youth. Wonderful refreshing salad. Yum.

No, it's a "Waldorf Salad" as in the Waldorf hotel in NYC, USA. Originally consisted of green apples, grapes, and celery...all green for esthetics...later walnuts were added, and sometimes chicken breast.
