@@Real_Steve_Sharpe Thanks for your polite response. Firstly I have never knowingly done a self-like! If I have here, it would have been inadvertently! I see such an action as Pathos! You stated in the plural? Could you explain please? Secondly, I as a British subject, seriously object to the degradation of the English language by semi illiterate persons eroding the First Language in the world today! Education is Enlightenment! Communication is the key to a peaceful life! Thirdly, I had no idea that there were WATCH groups out there observing and noting, then admonishing persons who did there their best to uphold these important standards! The pilots who fly these jets will have learnt correctness, which is all you need for a better world, we hope! Cheers

@@nigelparker5886 Bloody hell, settle down Nige, you'll give yourself another heart attack if you keep getting worked up like that🤣 Now, it would give me immeasurable pleasure to dissect every last word of your truculent, calumniatory, denigrative retort, pull it apart thread by thread and display to the world your imbecilic ranting. I'm not gonna do that though Nige, because even if I just listed all the grammar and syntax errors you've made this would turn from a comment in to a thesis. Whilst I'm spoiled for choice, I'm just gonna throw out some simple points to help you out a little, try not to get confused when I speak in the manner of a poverty stricken street urchin though, ok? • Ending every statement with an exclamation mark does not make the statements true, nor give the impression that they are true - it just makes it glaringly obvious that you don't understand how to use this wonderful language which you believe you are in a position to make a personal attack on me for! Not! Using! Properly! Nige! are! you! still! there? ! ? % ^ ? • Would you like me to teach you the difference between common nouns, proper nouns, and why invoking the name of a town on the A6 in Cyprus isn't helping your cause? • I'm very pleased for you that you're a "British subject" Nige - I too am a citizen of His Majesty's Glorious United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland! Tell me, what have you done to earn that honourable title, where have you served? Keenya, Hong Kong, Germany, Cyprus, Ulster, Iraq, Kuwait, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Iraq 2, Afghan, Sierra Leone, Canada, Norway, Borneo... How about decorations, letters after your name, things like that? • If you're so wonderfully educated, how come you are incapable of grasping the concept of common parlance, and that languages evolve over time? If that counts as so-called "degradation of the English language", then answer me this nige: Why are YOU degrading this proud land's language with your modern vernacular, instead of communicating with nothing but ugg, ogg, and ooga booga noises as the first humans to settle here did? • I'd like you to think about this one for a while before you answer... Who the fcuk do you think you are to start calling people "semi illiterate"? Who was that directed at nige? Given as you don't even understand the very basics like how to use simple punctuation or capital letters, who is it you think should be embarrassed after the drivel you've posited? • What is this "first language" that you're blithering on about? (and again with the capital letters, it's like you're doing it on purpose) Explain to me what you think that means. • I have no idea what a crab's training - or rather what you seem to imagine a crab's training is - is in any way shape or form relevant to me making fun of you for being out of touch. Having spent 25 years in service of Queen and Country _(albeit as one of those ghastly soldier types, those horrid infantry sorts!)_ though, I can hand on heart tell you I've never even heard of this "correctness" protocol of yours. Which JSP is it in? Who holds the training aids?
