Well done. its very tough to do that job. Only thing is that my Wheels cost about £250 each and a refurb costs about £50 per corner and then on top of this there is the balancing... So... hmmm if you put my tyres on then I would still need them balancing and then re-furbing due to the damage caused by you fitting them and then re-balancing after the re-furb and then re-furbed again if you put them on again !!! The bill would be HUGE !!!!

What was the size of the tyre dimensions in the video? Is this possible by hand with a 195 50 15? ,i've tried to do it, i can get the tyres off but when refitting the tyre the final side is really hard, i can get the lip of the tyre 90% around the last part looks impossible to get on as if the tyre would rip or cut when trying to push it over the rim I only have 2 crow bars when i'm doing this, would the proper tyre levers make a big difference?

Like to see this done with a slimmer rim and a different profile. wouldn't be so easy then. say a 205/65/14. on a steely.

Have you tried doing the job it is the bead retaining ridge that causes problems it is designed to keep it on.
@wv_

Yeah, deflate + rubber mallet. For tyres im not using again - Screw driver + Hammer at the edge. If it's really stuck use a c-clamp. I recommend using a wet bar of soap instead of washing up liquid if you plan on removing it yourself and the liquid turns to glue.
@IanLanc

Last time I saw a tyre being taken off the bead was by the use of another wheel which was still attached to the car! Deflate old tyre. Jack up car. Put wheel & deflated tyre under wheel which is still fitted to car, only have the deflated tyre under the inflated tyre. Lower the car steadily. Weight of car pushes bead off the rim. Brother did this in his 'money saving quest'.... fookin daft idea but it worked....lol

Tbh when drifting the tyres usually are fooked and off the head haha
