Your restorations are simply the best I've ever seen. What may look like a 28 minutes video must have take you guys a couple of days. Lots of work and assembly to bring that motorbike to look new again. Seems like it was smoking too much from the exhaust. Cheers on a good restoration.

23:23 How to start an 125ccm-2stroke... piece of cake, makes e-starters so obsolete... almost as easy as pushing that e-starter-button...
You put the piston in backwards, the little ”arrow” is supposed to point to the exhaust port!

When you ejected the fork oil onto the ground, doesn't the environmental agency frown on that? Or is it okay as long has it's your neighbors yard.....LOL. Also, did you balance the gas/oil mixture better later on, because I wouldn't want to be on the tail end of that bike with it smoking as it did on your trial run. I noticed your expanding by the extra help on this build. Great build once again.

Interesting to watch, I owned 1 of these back in 89. With the tools and facilities you appeared to have available I'd say well done. I see others have mentioned the piston (I didn't spot that) the font being wrong and apparently not pre oiling the clutch plates. But for me the painting is the area you can easily improve at no cost in time or money, why not hang things up and have things like the forks apart before you paint? Well done though.

Super impressed with this chaps. I am extremely fussy when buying vehicles about faults in bodywork etc and i would hand my hard earned money over for this piece of history. Very well done. You put a lot of European commercial restorers to shame!

Two strokes can smoke like that pretty regularly especially with what I'd say was an Indian spec bike. Not sure but would assume much less smog restrictions than us

@@pinchepescado40 the smoke should have calmed down a bit after it warmed up. i think the oil injector needs adjustment (if it has one) or he's just got too much mix in the fuel.

Its a 2-stroke. They do that when cold or if the oil-injection pump is maladjusted.It is water cooled so it could also be a head gasket but single-cylinders don’t usually run with a head gasket lesk.

Clutch Plates Had to be Put in an oil bath before mounting and the Piston went in upside down. The Arrow has to Point Into the exhaust Port direction......Big fail. Greets from germany

The piston of the engine has been fixed in to the wrong direction. Though I corrected it, I couldn't remember to correct it when editing. Pleese appologise for the inconvenience you faced. 🙏

That was pretty awesome, had the whole village helping ya with it. The internal bearings maybe cause of the fast forward looked like it went in way to easy, wouldn’t be surprised if you spun a bearing shortly after starting it coulda just been the fast forward edit tho. Great video! Loved it
