My father was navy during WWII, my husband was army in Korea and Viet Nam. I had great friends, one was a sniper for Patton and was at the Bulge, and one was a marine and was on all the islands. The men and women in the military are very special and should always be treated as such. I’m proud to be married to a Veteran, proud to have a father who was a vet, and proud to have friends who served and I. Grateful that they all came home! Thank you all!!

I love this video! KUDOS, Mr Boothe! I'm very ill, & listening to these tunes make me FEEL better! Excellent Stars & Stripes, btw -- I'm from Boston & it's not easy living up to the 🎵Boston Pops 🎶) A tad fast at the end, imho, but beautifully played & the last chorus build up was just right!! I'll really enjoy hearing this video 😀 Thank you! ❤️

Hila, I'm very sorry to hear you are very ill. I only hope your better feelings from this music and also for faith in positive outcomes can help you get better. It was a great joy and honor to lead the USAF Band of Flight earlier in my career. And yes, I always like to "surprise" the audience with a double-time closing phrase for Stars & Stripes. It's just my signature approach. I'm glad you enjoyed this and I thank you for sending your positive energy my way!

Served in the S.A.C. band '66 to '70. During that time guys in the band were forever pissing and moaning non-stop. But, I'll bet you anything that if you were to ask anyone them, how they feel now about their 4 year stint in the Air Force, most of them, I'm sure would agree, it was one of the most exciting time in their lives. And I'm sure they would be a little teary eyed after listening to America the Beautiful as I was just a minute ago! God is Good!
