What a beautiful song , and the night is set to freeze, a people left alone by the world in a siege by Government forces. Bill Clinton said it best ,Europe needs to look after its own problems and stop asking Americans to do something. Now we’re on the brink of a major war with Russia with Russians being only 400 miles away from Ireland well Russia we have boats too so we’re waiting 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪☘️✌️

The Siege of Sarajevo was the longest siege of a capital city in the history of modern warfare, from April 5, 1992 to February 29, 1996 (1,425 days). Instead of asking for "world peace" as she was crowned Miss Besieged Sarajevo in 1993, 17-year-old Inela Nogic unfolded a banner that read: "Don't let them kill us."

I was 9 years old when this song was released. My family and I fled the Bosnian civil war and were at this point far away from home, yet I walked these streets just this morning, and yesterday and a day before. Strong feeling watcing scenes from this video. It gives me goosebumps and makes me cry. War changed it all: so many stolen lives, destroyed destinies and broken dreams. Matthew 23: Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, 2 “The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses.[a] 3 So practice and obey whatever they tell you, but don’t follow their example. For they don’t practice what they teach. 4 They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden. Even the Prince of Peace was against religion. We don't have a religion with our parents, we have a relationship with them. The same should go with our Lord Jesus Christ. Religion is what causes these atrocities.

I can empathise with your grief and pain, even though I live in a safe country at the moment. But I know Kyiv and other Ukraines cities and let me tell you that all the pictures of the war, the people, the bombs and the destructions on the screen and in the newspapers break my heart and make me cry. I also know Sarajevo and I am so afraid of another new conflict in the Balkans between Serbia and Bosnia because the Serbs support Russia and want independence for the Serbian territories in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It is exasperating that humanity does not learn from the mistakes of the past.

I was in Srebrenica July 2015, 10 days before the 20 year memorial day. Group of Muslim ladies got a tour and they played a documentary about the whole happening in the hall were all those innocent people were captured during the last moments of their lives. Their teacher allowed me to watch it with them. This song was used as the soundtrack of this documentary and it was heartbreaking to see those young ladies, that might have lost family during that genocide, crying and seeking comfort, I could not keep it dry myself either seeing so much grief in one room. (It was the I was not glad to be Dutch). Now each time I hear that song I still get chills and tears cause the song assembles, in my opinion, perfectly what I felt and saw that day, very emotional.

I had no idea a human could do such things until I heard the Master. Mind-boggling volume, range, sustain, control, emotion, vibrato.

s there a time for keeping your distance A time to turn your eyes away Is there a time for keeping your head down For getting on with your day Is there a time for kohl and lipstick A time for curling hair Is there a time for high street shopping To find the right dress to wear Here she comes, oh oh Heads turn around Here she comes To take her crown Is there a time to run for cover A time for kiss and tell Is there a time for different colors Different names you find it hard to spell Is there a time for first communion A time for East Seventeen Is there a time to turn to Mecca Is there time to be a beauty queen Here she come, oh oh Beauty plays the clown Here she comes Surreal in her crown Dici che il fiume Trova la via al mare E come il fiume Giungerai a me Oltre i confini E le terre assetate Dici che come fiume Come fiume L'amore giungerà L'amore E non so più pregare E nell'amore non so più sperare E quell'amore non so più aspettare Is there a time for tying ribbons A time for Christmas trees Is there a time for laying tables And the night is set to freeze

I was a kid when this happened in Sarajevo. It was madness no way in our out of the city horrible rations etc. This is my city. The Olympic city of 1984 being burnt to the ground.

They showed raw footage on TV of the army torturing one dude on the hill. I was like 🥶 for 15-16 yo. Am marked for life. Thanks this is over. Props to your people my friend. Cherish your identity. 🙏

THE BEST PART: Dici che il fiume Trova la via al mare E come il fiume Giungerai a me Oltre i confini E le terre assetate Dici che come fiume Come fiume L'amore giungerà L'amore E non so più pregare E nell'amore non so più sperare E quell'amore non so più aspettare Goosebumps !!
