With the games the quality theyve been slopping out, they don’t want you liking the games either.

They just want to take as much money as they can from you while giving back the bare minimum product that they can get away with.

They really don't want you to actually own your games.

I bet that it will require an internet connection to play too. So you won't even own the $140 game you paid for.

oh yeah, offline play is too much like owning something.

Ubisoft has a lot of Pay2Win DLCs.

Now they want you to pay a monthly fee to access those pay to win DLCs, they have no shame.

Its pretty obvious the people in charge of these gaming companies have never played a game in their life, they are business men first and foremost, money is the one and ONLY thing they factor in their decision making. People keep slurping up their regurgitated shit year after year and the ceos make their money so why would they ever change? We only have ourselves to blame for validating their business practices, so what the game has shit reviews? People bought and preordered it anyways so why would they even bother making a good game. Please people vote with your wallets, your negative review after you bought the game already is meaningless.

Oh yeah you're bang on, all these companies saw how much money rockstar and epic were making with Gta 5 online (which is honestly terrible) and fortnite so they all started copying the live service format not realizing why those games were even successful in the first place. Now it's going a step further where everything is now a streaming service and you can't own anything or even play offline.

Unity was the last one I bought. Since then I prefer the Torrent Edition. Please, stop buying their games; a decline in sales is the only language that people who make the decisions understand. And to be honest, most of modern AAA games are a pretty solid experience when pirated

Unity was also the last one I bought at release, it's a good game now but it was a buggy mess when it released too.

@@jameydengineerThat is a real shame. I bought it in quite a polished state only after a year passed since release. Playing games on release is really not a good choice nowadays. Hope your future experiences are better

You are correct, I thought they did but the just have a deal for the streaming rights to activision blizzards catalogue which pretty much gives microsoft control over them without actually owning them. I honestly don't think Ubisoft+ or gamepass for that matter are worth it even with the activision blizzard games. They need to focus on their game quality for future releases instead of going all in on a streaming service is the point of the video.
