haters=motivators! UCF played their heart out and deserve this win. There were so many missed calls against Memphis. They were holding our guys all night long pull them from under the basket. UCF wins and it's well deserved. #GOKNIGHTS!

Its one single win. They acted like it was over and they were number one. When in reality Memphis came back to beat ucf in regular season and the c-usa tournament .. But my point was is, its kinda sad that they celebrate that much over one win. They acted like Memphis was kentucky or something. But im glad UCF is going with memphis to big east. They have potential to be a pretty good team.

CUSA was dominated by Memphis. All other teams were amateurs. Memphis is Nationally known and a powerhouse. Iv never liked any CUSA schools, ever. I almost threw a fit when i realized we were going to be in a conference with some old CUSA teams. The one thing that has changed tho is my opinion on UCF. There athletics have done amazing. They are taking all the right steps to get on the path of VCU or Witchita State. Im very happy with them coming with us now. Still mad about SMU & ECU..

I'll accept the court-rushing. UCF makes a big deal out of hiring large numbers of security guards to stand in front of the student sections for games against huge teams such as Hartford and North Carolina A&T that doing it in this game (the biggest home game of the season for UCF) makes enough sense. I wouldn't have really cared either way had it not happened, and I still don't. A cool experience though, and it may as well have been this game, since this is as big as they get in CUSA 11-12.

It was their first win against memphis ever, of course they're going to rush the fucking court. it wasn't just a win it was something bigger than that, you can't blame them for rushing the court.

it's illegal to rush the court/field at ucf, there is security everywhere, it took time for the students to break through security to get to the court. btw when you beat a rival for the first time in school history, i'd imagine you'd rush the court too.

@sportzfrk99 So let's say it was 25th ranked Clemson or whatever.....it's still Memphis who is a great basketball team who was 13-4 coming into the game and UCF is on it's way up. Go Knights.

@platinump23 Extremely disappointing to say the least. UCF simply failed to adjust to Memphis's smothering D. But, ANYTHING can happen in the CUSA tournament. I really hope we get another shot to upset you on your home court. The way we do that is if we dominate UAB at home and gain enough confidence in the second round match to face you guys once more. Either way, our hopes at an at large bid has been shot. Win the tourney or settle for a top seed in NIT. Both are fine by me at this point.

@sportzfrk99 I've seen other schools rush the court for much less. As far as a nobody school to the rest of the country...that would be false as we are getting prized transfers from major schools. If we had UF in the house instead of the Amway that would have been the last time UCF would have. BTW UCF is in the BE next year just in case you didn't know that.

@theghost2087 U mad? One call doesn't make the game. There were many no calls against both teams. Stop whining about the refs and let us enjoy the win. Can't wait for the rematch in Memphis! I expect another thriller.

I would be embarrassed if my college rushed to the floor like that over one win. It makes UCF look worse then it is.

@TheeHurriShane Memphis WAS a great team. They are not this year. Yes they have dominated C-USA since Louisville, Marquette, etc. all left for the Big East, but this year they are really mediocre. Had this been UCONN, which was unfortunately in the Bahamas, then yes, rushing the court is very much deserved. UCF may be "up and coming" but to the rest of the country you are still a small nobody school trying to beg for attention with this. And it backfired.

If Memphis is "mediocre" then ucf just plain out sucks.

lol what a fail. You don't rush the court for an unranked team. Don't care how many times in a row you lost to them, a win vs. an unranked team is still the same thing. Have some dignity. Notice how it took a few seconds before even a few students were on the court. That's called forcing it. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Our court, our rules. This meant a lot to UCF that day. I have respect for school spirit.
